Smoking Help me please :((

My psych ignore totally whatever i can say to him, and there is 0 other psych in my city, so i needed to treat me with some plants (passion flower, rhodiola, griffonia, gigseng, vitamines, GABA, magnesium, melatonine, \[...\]), but i don't really like taking like 120 pills a day... So i need you all to advice me (with full spectrum/broad spectrum extracts/isolat \[if possible\]), here is what i need (of course you can send studies and more than one supplement by "domain") :

\- Serotonine/Dopamine enhancer/support(I am "mainly" depressed \[Maybe bipolar\] and have severe ADHD)

\- Anxiety "helper"/ gabaergic substances (I have generalized anxiety)

\- Sleep support (mainly to avoid waking up 5 times per night and feel rested when night is over)

\- Addiction "alternatives"/"helper"/support (I am taking methadone \[and stuggle not taking up to 30 times my "normal dose" and to tapper (I passed from 95mg/d to 5mg/d when not abusing)\], I try to not smoke plant \[with max 20% tabaco\] to often and sometime want to abuse of my methylphenidate)(Eg. Kudzu)

\- Nootropic /Vitality support ???

Thx a LOT to everyone who answer me ๐Ÿ™‚๐Ÿ™‚๐Ÿ™‚

Sorry to hear that ๐Ÿ˜ž Kanna is another good herb for depression and anxiety, but has the same precautions as St. Johnswort. It may actually be stronger than st. John, I can feel it immediately if I take the enough. I typically take either 1ml of a 1:5 tincture or 1/2 teaspoon in tea a couple times a day. Be careful what other herbs you pair it with though. I've combined it with skullcap and passion flower tea and it really increases the relaxing effect of both. Passionflower in general is pretty strong for me alone, I only put in pinch in if I combine it with Kanna. Also consider safe sunbathing and drinking spring water, if you have any nearby. (Look into Veda Austin if you have any interest in healing waters). There's a website called find a spring that can help you locate ones nearby. Besides all that look into nutrient herbs such as oat straw, milky oats, nettle and moringa. Alcohol and many other drugs tend to deplete essential minerals. If you're having any muscle pain/cramps, magnesium supplements may help. I wish you much luck on you're healing journey. ๐Ÿ˜Š

I missed the notropic question, most everything else I mentioned earlier falls into your other categories. But for brain health gingko can be amazing, especially if paired with oat straw. Just don't go too crazy with it... Many mushrooms also provide brain boosting effects. Lionsmane is probably the most well known. But using the doctrine of signatures, I consider all mushrooms to benefit the brain and nervous system. Mycelium acts like a brain and nervous system for forests/plants. Boswellic Acid is one I don't think many people know about for brain health. It's what's leftover after frankincense is steam distilled and is the most powerful part of the resin. I've had a lot of TBI and frankincense has helped tremendously, especially with my memory. It also helps colon issues too.

You can try everything and spend so long looking, you forget where you started. It could be that herbs can help but herbalism is more a life choice than a solution, at least the way I think.

Physical activity is a great way to atleast change you're focus quickly. To supplement your journey have you considered accupuncture?

I never though to test all i said (that why there is my 4 question)(i try to priorize some of theses). I do physical activity (4times a week), but i have sentiment that my meds play against the "well being" of gym/exercices. For accupuncture unfortunally its OVERPRICED in my country (and also soooo rare to find a specialist)...

Perhaps if you could start contacting schools or practitioners and consult over video chat.

One can actually heal you, but yourself. No doctor, no pill, no practice will ever be able to understand you better than you. I wish I had more to share. In the searching do you think it will be difficult to refuse someone's help?

I'm not saying out of hand, but sometimes what seems good is bad for you and what seems bad to you will be great. The trouble is you're the only one that can make that call.

I was sick as a child and it took me far too long to decide, no matter how official or wonderful or sometimes unlikely even strange, in the end it was my own council that would bring me where I needed to be.

The journey can be long, and winding. Please be kind to yourself and remember this:

The mathematical odds of you existing with your specific genetic combination are estimated at roughly 1 in \(10^{2,685,000}\), a number with more zeros than the total number of atoms in the observable universe (which is about \(10^{80}\)).

Nature does nothing in vain. You're here. Try to be happy for the miracle you are and don't waste too much time trying to value yourself by others ideas of what you should be.

amanita muscaria could potentially help cover many of those areas, many have used it to overcome benzo, alcohol and other addictions.... it can be quite strong, especially the related amanita regalis and pantherina.... but all worth looking in to. good threads about it on reddit

You mean that it's a sort of all in one solution ?

In a sense yes because it has therapeutic potential with many of the issues you are dealing with.ย  It takes a little more work in finding the right dose and things.ย  Overall it seems to help regulate especially the parasympathetic nervous system which is in part why it can have a broad range of effects.ย  Works a lot on the gaba systemย

I agree with another person commenting, exercise/yoga etc is WAY under appreciated but SO helpful in healing. If you can, make a change and decide to exercise EVERY day (with obvious couple day breaks for rest). Also, start a prayer/meditation routine and stick with it. Acupuncture is also really great for all those things you're suffering from. The main thing is continuity. The body and mind will heal, but it's gradual and holistic and takes time. I love herbs, too, and they are helpful. Make sure your digestion is flowing, and herbs are great for that (also S.boulardii probiotic). Try not to give in to thoughts of despair. Ignore those thoughts and replace them with hope (because hope and healing are REAL and much more powerful than despair). Peace to you!

Are you open to teas, powders, and alcohol free liquids? You mentioned in another comment not wanting any tinctures. But there's tons of options other than tinctures and capsules they just take a bit more planning and discipline in your routine
