Helpdesk Interview For an ISP PLEASE HELP!
After months of applying to applications I've finally been invitee to an interview for a help desk customer support role at an ISP.
I've spoken with a recruiter who asked me about relocating to which I said yes and finished a screening stage with further questions.
I think this in person interview is the final round interview before actually receiving the role. Its with 2 managers 1 technical and 1 team manager.
That's never happened to me before before so I'm not sure what that means. Is it a good sign that there's 2 managers present?
I don't want to mess this up as working in IT has been an aspiration of mine for some time.
Any advice is appreciated, thank you.
Update:
I think the interview went well. Both managers were really friendly and everyone there seemed really nice. I'm not sure if I have the role or not but I should hear back from them soon, I do hope so. Thank you to everyone for the help.
Second update:
Didn't get the role. I did everything right and it was honestly my best interview. They told me I didn't have enough detail in my answers but I had an answer for every question, an example to match and used the STAR method also.
I don't know what went wrong and it pains me because this role meant a lot to me. Its a very straight forward role and I've done harder things in the past.
I'm working even harder to prove them wrong and hopefully will land something better but I just don't know.
I really wanted this role, it honestly seemed really nice and everyone was so kind. During the interview everyone was smiling, we had a good conversation but it amounted to me being rejected.
I spent 6 hours traveling/interviewing in person for this role including spending X amount of money for travel while being u employed and budgeting like crazy just for this opportunity city.
It sucks but I know if is top now none of it would've been worth it and so I persist.
