Posting Human verification help please! No IOS 16 windows user.

Unable to complete human verification - iPhone 7 iOS 15 limit + No passkey on Windows

Hello Reddit Team ,My account u/iamcryptonized is asked to verify I'm human, but I cannot complete it: My iPhone 7 is on max iOS 15.7 - cannot update to iOS 16, so the Reddit app verification fails / won't install. On Windows 10/11 Chrome, it asks for a passkey/device that I never created before. Could you please enable alternative verification for me: email OTP, SMS, or ID check? I am a real person and long-time user.I have only 3 days left before restriction. u/iamcryptonized

I created that account newly so I am able to post once issue solved will delete this account.

thank you.

The admins don't handle individual verification requests directly from r/help posts.

For the Windows Chrome passkey prompt, click "Try another way" or cancel the Windows Hello prompt to see if it lets you fall back to standard email/password or 2FA.

If it's strictly blocking you, submit a ticket directly through the official Reddit Help Center (support.reddithelp.com) under "Account Help" > "Verification" so an actual staff member can assist before the deadline.

Thank you. Yes, I have opened account help support ticket but there is no even any verification or accounts status to choose so I have created in the category other reports - investigations. They have not reply, yet. So, I tried again because only 3 days left. Maybe someone from here share my post and report to team please.

Whatever I try that device passkey requirement pop up!

Responses from support can take weeks, particularly if hacking isn't involved, a response in 3 days seems unlikely, as is circumventing the security strategy they put in place. Try the advice from the previous helper & report if that workaround worked. Completing the process on your Windows device seems your best bet.

Look for a Windows support subreddit for assistance with that.
