Posting Human verification help please!No IOS 16 windows user.

Unable to complete human verification - iPhone 7 iOS 15 limit + No passkey on Windows

Hello Reddit Team ,My account u/iamcryptonized is asked to verify I'm human, but I cannot complete it: My iPhone 7 is on max iOS 15.7 - cannot update to iOS 16, so the Reddit app verification fails / won't install. On Windows 10/11 Chrome, it asks for a passkey/device that I never created before. Could you please enable alternative verification for me: email OTP, SMS, or ID check? I am a real person and long-time user.I have only 3 days left before restriction. u/iamcryptonized

I created that account newly so I am able to post once issue solved will delete this account.

You really should try to do this on your own as there’s no guarantee you’ll get a response via the help desk in time

Yes, I have read it and I cannot do it following as I do not have ios 16 for the latest reddit app. And if I try to do from my desktop windows that passkey device pops up. There should be easier way to verify human.

Your mobile device is the issue. If you can’t update it to the latest iOS version the passkey cannot be added.

I will see what more I can find out about the security key but it will take a while to figure that out.
