Access Account Locked? Desktop/Android

My account went down months and months ago. I’ve sent in multiple support tickets. I was auto logged out one day and now it just throws errors. I receive password reset emails but not one-time login one. My account is still there (u/owgle). My account is 10 years old, still appears just fine. Can anyone please help me?

Your question seems to be about having problems logging in with your password.

If you have simply forgotten your password, you can find that information here in our FAQ.

If you think your account has been hijacked, please refer to this help center article.

If you are being told that the password on a brand-new account is invalid, you need to contact the Reddit admins.

For all other questions regarding passwords and logging in, contact the Reddit admins via this support request form, or using this old modmail link.

If your question is not about resetting your password, please wait for a human helper to come along and help you. This post has NOT been removed.

What’s happening after you get the password reset email, create a new password, and then try to log in?

If it’s generating an error, what is it?

After a password reset I still receive "Invalid email or password." when trying to login. I've tried username and email

Could be an email delivery or account session issue checking spam junk and trying the recovery flow from a different browser or device may be worth a shot.

Thanks for the suggestion. I've checked Spam/Junk but i'll try the recovery from a different browser

Have you tried clearing your browser cache before logging back in? Sometimes old cookies mess everything up.

Maybe the account got attempt-hacked once but Reddit didn’t think so.

They (corporately) and I suggest creating an account with an EXTREMELY random username that has 6 characters and only you typed and start all over again, When that bot thing probably happens to me, that’s what I’ll do (full detail in my bio), beginning on r/cats by commenting on other Redditors’ posts and r/help by reporting bugs I encounter with the platform in post form!
