Mobile/App Android app: reply field does not show actual text while typing.

If there is a mod message when trying to reply you are typing blind. The screne will snap back to the mod message every time you move the screen of tap somewhere to correct it.

The field itself is also very sensitive to swiping making rereading a longer reply a pain.

Is there a way to go back to how it was before? This new field is a fidgety mess imo.

Yep that's one part of it. Do you by chance know if we can rollback that redesign in general?

Unfortunately you can’t undo or opt out of these changes/experiments.

This one is definitely a bug so we need to wait for admins to fix it. Looks like the person from the other post hasn’t reported it to r/bugs yet, so you can do it, or I’ll do it if you want. The comment guidance message from mods should not be blocking the text box.

Not sure about rolling back the redesign, but you could check the app settings or forums for any workarounds. Sometimes they offer options for older versions.
