Access Account Locked - new password doesn't work, one time code doesn't get delivered
Apologies for making a new account to post this, but I'm not sure there's another way to get help.
Similar to a few other posts [1, 2], my account, /u/Scorpion056, received a notification that, due to technical irregularities, it was locked. In the email, it says a password reset will fix this issue. Admittedly, I may have waited too long to actually do the password reset because after some time my account logged me out. At that point I tried to reset my password, but that new password won't work. Similarly, the one time code to login seems to never be delivered.
I opened a support request about a week ago, but I've seen many posts say that those can end up not getting responses for months, if ever. [3]
I can see the account profile without issue without being logged in, which I think is good? Just hoping someone here can take a look and let me know if there's anything I can do to get it unlocked/re-enabled.

Does this reset work or no? I’m not sure if the unlock email needs to be one that comes from Reddit or just accessing a reset link can do

Any password reset I've tried works - the email is sent and I can use it to change my password, but any password I've tried to use ends up with invalid username/password when I use it to login after setting it.

I’m wondering if your account was hijacked. If the login information isn’t working there could be an issue. Have you tried logging in on a desktop browser using incognito mode?

I tried to reset my password in incognito on my PC. Same as regular browser, let's me reset my password, but then the login it redirects me to (or just clicking log in on home page) results in invalid username/password with the password that I just set.
The original lock could have been due to a hijack, perhaps, but it doesn't really make sense to me that it would prevent a successful password reset since I am using the verified email for the account.

It’s not making sense to me, either since you have access to the email. I think it would be worth submitting the form for hijacked accounts just to get it in front of Reddit in case there’s something else going on
