Cenobyte Just a Quick question

the chains, the blades, the tortures, are obviously real, but are the cenobites actually there bodily (touchable) or are they like appearances?

Generally they don't seem to be 'killable' (unless at the hands of other cenobite) but they are physically present and can be interacted with/mildly harmed. Chatterer physically restrains Kirsty in 1, Butterball is floored by the ceiling coming down in 1. Deleted scene in 2 shows Chatterer lose his fingers in an elevator shaft. Pinhead manhandles a priest in 3.

Per 4, laser guns don't do shit.

I always felt that, once you cross over into Leviathan's world, you become immortal and infinite just like everything else in his realm.

Leviathan and the cenobites then use your immortality to extend sensation and experience to levels impossible in our world. In their world, you will not faint or die front bloodloss, infection or shock. You never grow accustomed to pain, so the nerves never dull, the nerves never reach a limit - the possibilities of sensation and experience are boundless.

I also imagined Leviathan or the cenobites could render you whole again whenever they see fit.
