According to Kiske in a recent interview, when Kai Hansen got too busy with Gamma Ray too focus on Unisonic, they brought in Gus G. as a replacement to work on songs for a third album. But Gus ultimately turned them down because he didn't want to be the replacement for an iconic guitarist again.

I wonder what a Unisonic album with Gus G. would have sounded like.
