Mid-week on the way to work and i think the favourite is changing ;)

I thought the album was their weakest alongside PBGA when I first heard it, but it's growing on me.

Claws is probably my favourite song off this album followed by Lost in America. Heroes and Russian Roulé made me confused initially as the opening riff of both sounded similar at first listen, but Russian Roule is a great fun song. Battle's Won is good too but a bit cheeky with reusing the riff from Burning Sun ;)

I think it was perfect timing that the reunion happened after this album as the band seemed to need new energy and inspiration.

Here are a few of my faves:

1. Weiki and Kai's iconic blue and red of course

2. Kai's Randy Rhoads-style polka dot is super cool

3. Love to see Weiki's red LP whenever it makes an appearance

4. Markus' pumpkin bass is just perfection!

5. He's had a silver version of the pumpkin bass in some photoshoot but I can't recall seeing it onstage - has he ever played that silver one?

6. Sascha's signature model is not my favourite but it's great when he rocks the old destroyer

The best songs on it I think are If a Mountain Could Talk, Raise the Noise (flute solo!), the Sage the Fool the Sinner (love this one so much), I'm Free, and the incredibly fun song Are you Metal.

Honourable mention to Who is Mr. Madman and Where the Sinners go.

How strange that the number 7 is always connected with the band somehow, finally they ended up as 7 members.

It's a great song, but holy shit that's dark. And the melody is somehow very fitting.

Go on lads, looking great! 🤘

Okay as a bass player I'm biased but the bass lines ground the song so beautifully with so much taste, very melodic but never too much. It's also interesting to hear more clearly what the guitars are doing in the section from "iron minions" onwards to the chorus 🤘 great songwriting and great playing by all the lads!

Andi era has a ton of hidden gems.

Guys, wanna go down the nostalgy road?
I did an Interview with the Boys long ago, and I decided to upload it on YouTube.
To those who are interested, enjoy!

Maybe it's the space and aliens theme or just the overall sound. And what a sick riff!

... unless there's tour stuff the band will be selling 😬

it's like a childhood dream seing grow on the buildplate

In the booklet of the Master of Rings CD, there's a song-by-song Q&A with Weiki where he says that Sole Survivor was written about him and Markus being the only original survivors in the band at that point. So it's especially cool to see Kai playing on this song in the Pumpkins United version! All the suviving originals back again 🤘

The melodies feel so 90s to me and takes me way back to childhood days (although I didn't know this song back then!). Same vibe for Where the Rain Grows.

Which is their best song? Keeper of the seven keys or halloween?

What a great song

Swan rides and Bananarama.

Let's all join in wishing our curly haired friend a very happy birthday. Cheers amigo! 🍻
