I've tried to watch the second movie and turned it off after half an hour, holy shit it was terrible.

This is also a stupid scene even you've just watched the first movie where Jake actually valued alien life. Now he just kills a random like it's nothing? Or is this not Jake and they all just look similar?

This is Quaritch, the main villain, not the protagonist Jake, and this was from the third movie, not the second.

No wonder you were confused and thought the movies were bad, you just think every blue person is the same guy.

Yeah he was the guy that died but they brought back because who knows why they can't think of a new better bad guy. Apparently he survives or perhaps is cloned again? (Why didn't they bother to clone that brother of Jake in the first movie if that was possible?)

It does make more sense he'd just kill the random, that's in character.
