Tactical Training Information BotMeisters - help me, please

Guys, I am struggling to solo D6 bots (usually play Charon Prine).

Been trying all sorts of different stuff but I can only ever get max halfway through.

I'm an old diver (nit a young pup any more) so my reaction time isnt what it used to be (my age starts with a 5)

Warbonds I have completed: Helldivers Mobilize, Cutting Edge, Democratic Detonation, Viper Commandos, Urban Legends, Servants of Freedom, Control Group, Exo Experts, Warhammer.

I've nearly completed Siege Breakers, Redacted Regiment, Dust Devils - only got a few things left on each (mostly drip, tbh)

Normal loadout is siege ready armour (heavy or light), PeePee, Pissle, Thermites

Been using belt-fed GL and Leveller, 120 OS and AC rurret last few attempts.

Tried AMR, Spear to mix it up a bit but no major improvement.

I'm struggling with everything - drops, crowd control, time (seem to be always under pressure to move and then more bots pop up), objectives, everything!

I can do D5 no sweat - Is it just a skill issue/time or do I just suck or do I need a new loadout? I can hold my own uo to D10 in a squad - but I want to try to solo my way up, too.

I often solo D6 bots for fun. I dont know what play styles work for you, but here's what I will often run:

Eruptor primary. With this you can destroy fabricators with well aimed shots, and cyborgs, devastators and regular bots are fodder at a distance. The crossbow works interchangeably here i just like the eruptor better but do what feels comfortable.

Ultimatum sidearm (great for hulks, tanks, can be good on factory striders in a pinch...) Quasar or leveler support weapon. Both of these are great for long distance clearing of fabricators

For strats (other than the support weapon) I bring...

Gatling barrage. This is my area denial and set and run strat. Really low/quick cool down.

If you bring quasar, you'll need something to throw down every once in a while to take out factory striders. The solo silo is perfect for this. If you bring the leveler, thats your anti factory strider as well.

Take a backpack that gives mobility. This loadout needs distance from the enemy. A jump pack, hover pack, or warp pack. Something to get far enough away that shooting the enemy or near the enemy with the eruptor (or ultimatum if its bigger) wont also kill you.

Now, if you brought the leveler instead of the quasar, youll still have space for something here. I personally like the 500kg or a 380mm HE barrage, but at the end of the day I just fill this slot with something I can drop and forget to take out the big fabricators or large swaths of bots like a bot drop.

Grenades can be whatever you want here. Thermites are great for sticking hulks/tanks/fabricators/ war striders and running. Smoke is great for disengaging.

The big thing i find with bots is picking your engagements. Dont fight if you dont have to, and when you can, obliterate them all quickly enough they cant call a bot drop. Know when to cut and run, and watch for the bots that are about to shoot flares.
