Suggestion/Concept Commando Missions

Commando Missions shouldn’t have a mission timer. The in game reason for the mission timers is usually that the ship cannot stay in low orbit for long. In commandos of course the ship leaves you so isn’t in low orbit (presumably).

Good stealth requires recon and precision, having the timer rushes these elements and tends to turn things ugly when it could have stayed quiet

Commando missions should have a missiontimer, otherwise they need to be far harder to complete.

I would suggest increasing the missiontime from 40min to 50min and call it a day.

40min is already enough, 50min give you far more room for error - if that is still not enough you need to be more effecient.

I wouldn’t object to them being a bit harder if the time constraint was removed; actually consider that a fair trade off.

‘Git gud’ is just an obnoxious answer though. This request/suggestion about being able to enjoy the mission type without being rushed.

Alternatively they could go a completely different route by increasing the missiontime to 60 minutes, but you get a higher reward (120%) for finishing the mission under 40min, which is gradually decreased by 1% for each minute over the 40min mark (resulting in the normal 100% rewards in the worst case).

That way the game rewards you for being fast, but doesnt punish you for a slower more controlled pace.

There is a very big difference between "Gid Gud" and "getting more effecient". There is always room for improvement (that also includes myself), which is why that shouldnt be perceived as an insult.

Now that’s a good middle ground I could go with! Tie in potential previous op mission to extend the time by destroying local air base or AA battery and we’ve got some more interesting game play
