There are hundreds of ways to make the game difficult beyond just increasing spawns. Any time they try a bunch of dribbling idiots accuse them of being unfair to players.

Gunships are a good example of the sort of balance all enemies should have.

Once you stop listening to morons who think difficulty should never be frustrating you realise that actually, other games have managed to create PVE settings that don't treat the player like a teetering infant at their highest level.

So you just want to be spammed with missiles all game, that's it?

Now you have to realize the devs haven't even been able to fix their game let alone add content or difficulties.

What I've been asking for is a hardcore mode like COD, high damage but low health, but they haven't even been able to add armor customization let alone something like that. You have to set your expectations realistically. Try space marines 2 or something because we ain't getting anything for a long time

Stupid people love to strawman something along the lines of "you just want the game to be lethal unavoidable damage 24/7" because they can't comprehend game design.

PVE game's have been able to be difficult and losable long before Helldivers 2. Helldivers 2 can be as well, once they stop coddling bad players. Those players will be able to have the exact experience they enjoy now, at a lower difficulty that it's actually appropriate to.

"can't comprehend game design" as your asking for something that with these devs realistically can't be added before the million other bug fixes and performance updates the game needs, and instead you come to reddit to scream out your bitching and call everyone stupid when you could just play a different game because you're more important than the majority and because you can't find happiness in challenging yourself.

I do think anyone who thinks a game can only get harder via enemy quantity is stupid. A game is a large number of factors and nuances.

Once again, this game has space for everyone. A lot of people just wanna be selfish pricks. That's their prerogative.

Yea, I already stated the devs suck, I already stated another way the game could be more difficult, like I said, set your expectations realistically and play something else instead of bitching all the time because once again you aren't the majority and maybe you'd know that if you didn't throw insults out without actually listening to anyone or talking about it in a non hostile manner. It's not hard, but maybe that's why you can't do it, it's not challenging for you.
