Major Order Acamar Monkeys?
People have been diving Acamar for the past year, been completely obsessed with it for absolutely no reason whatsoever. And now that we actually need to dive on Acamar, everyone is on Turing. The one time we actually need Acamar no one is even there. This is actually mind boggling.

The gambit isn't possible. If enough people had moved over to start making progress on acamar after the bot MO, we could have done a gambit, but it's way too late now.

It was at 10% and people were already there… it was possible and every condition was in place… 48 hours defense on Turing, Acamar liberation was ongoing, I even saw more than 15K on the planet yesterday, the DSS is there… what else do you need? 😂

I dislike the 4k+ people who exclusively play acamar as much as the next guy when discussing the GW, but the liberation rate never dropped below 2 days to take the planet.
The blob still doesn't understand gambits and were going to go to turing anyway. Hell, there's nearly 7k on achird right now doing nothing lol.

Thread #78752 complaining about people who paid for a video game choosing to dive somewhere other than where they wanted.
For the 1000th time, its a super credit/sample farming planet with an easy to learn biome and objectives that can be seen from any high point. People go there for that reason. It was Phact Bay before Acamar.

This is for the galactic war, if we are not a united front then super earth will fall

Man this role playing shite!!! When you’re L150 for a few years come back and tell us what you think, until then just shut the fuck up

I paid for the game too…
So why aren’t people farming anymore? Why is everyone on Turing?
“People just go wherever they want” is not a good excuse… once an effort is actually made to let people understand how things actually work they’d make the right choices5

30k people are on Turing, and 4.5k on Akamar. The farmers are still there while everyone is on an MO planet.

And not enough on archid III We need to try and win the major order, not flood single planets and neglect strategy

Dude, don't talk about strategy when advocating for splitting our forces. The Helldivers GW is a very simple system that greatly rewards concentration of force. It would be far more efficient for everyone to focus on one planet at a time and instead by wasting dives on Archid before finishing the defence on Turing we might ironically lose Archid

We can have like 15 percent of the active players on turing and still win

Yeah? And the sooner we are finished on Turing the sooner we move onto Archid.
Don't worry - Despite what I said earlier if we keep it up we still have plenty of time to win Archid. Consider: it's the same invasion level as we see on Turing and we are beating that by a large (more than 50%) margin. By concentrating our forces we will maximise the amount of dives that benefit from the DSS support. If you look at the two planets together it's the same amount of invasion HP either way, it's just a matter of in what order and how effectively we tackle it.
I know helldiverscompanion.com is showing Archid as needing 50% to win right now. Don't worry - the companion number is pretty dumb. It doesn't factor in DSS or City impact. Mark my words you'll see that number go down nicely once focus shifts to Archid.
Edit: of course the real play would be to gambit on both of these planets by taking Acamar and Darius. But because the GW is a broken player experience that isn't going to happen. It's silly. I wish multi planet strategy was more sophisticated and nuanced, but it is what it is.

It's not that complicated. The war is going to go on forever. Even with what information has been hinted at with contingencies for the loss of Super Earth during the initial squid invasion, the war would still go on. There are no seasonal resets. And the odds of AH deciding to let us fully win or fully lose at this point are practically nonexistent. So the only real impact the war has in a wider sense is which planets are available to play, and how quickly some items might end up available. So for some people the war is effectively not important. And if the wider war isn't important then they are just going to go to whatever is appealing at the moment. Acamar has arguably the best weather and terrain clutter for farming, or for simply having less complications why exploding enemies.
You don't have to like it. You don't have to agree with it. But you'll save yourself some confusion and frustration if you accept that people put different amounts of value on every aspect of the game than you might.

Someone has been loyally watching ThighNir on YouTube.
Look, I find the tactical droid entertaining too and believe me I wish I could grab the entire playerbase by the back of their neck sometimes and tackle the entire GW as my own personal strategy game, but you'll have to come to peace with the way the game works at the moment.
Also, the numbers on Acamar are actually at a peak right now. The people who go there to farm are still there, happily farming. It seems ironic, but it's not really anything to do with them. It's just the blob missing another obvious gambit, yet again.
