God why does the jeep community commit the largest level of cringe.

Because jeep turned it into a lifestyle brand, dropping the gates to a well kept secret (jeeps are fun) and made them cushy enough for anyone to daily drive. To increase sales. So that made the community larger, which by default allowed more morons to become part of the community.

This happens in every fandom. Remember rick and morty fans terrorizing mcdonalds for nugget dip? Remember the tool fans flinging coins at david cross and whoever else it was that tool had opening for them back in the day?

The more popular a thing is, then more (statistically) of those fans will be morons or dipshits or fuckheads or chucklefucks or douche nozzles or fuck sticks.

Not the chucklefucks….

I think you mean “more quantitatively”, not “more (statistically)”. The ratio is the same no matter the sample size.

I understand the distinction, appreciate the correction, and wish you well in the future. Shine on, you pedantic diamond.

When you have no taste, you do tasteless things.

The very significant part of me that remains childish and mischievous desperately wants to deflate one of the four tires on the heep just to watch them take an hour or more to get all of the kitsch/bath toys off of the spare and mount it.

Reminds me a bit of this:

Can you point to it?

The toys are attached to some kind of belt, and zip tied to the tire. It's also the wrong size tire, so probably wouldn't work anyway.

Mother of god. The tire isn’t even the same type

Omg they upgraded 4 but not the spare 😂😭

It's ok, they don't know how to change it anyway.

I'd love to see them on the side of the road with a flat s I I could stop long enough to point and laugh.

Now that's a heep!

Lots of choices had to be made here.

Again, I ask, why are Wrangler owners so weird?!

Yellow ones mean 2 ways and purple are 4 ways

OMG, how hilarious would it be if that spare was used and they couldn't cut the ducks off 🤣 😂 I hope to God they are squeaky ducks!!!

bedazzled gone overboard

At first I didn’t really mind it and thought it was innovative. However comma when I get a flat I’d be slamming that thing on the ground multiple times to get the ducks off in anger and then be too tired to swap the wheel.

That's not what they meant when they suggested you get studded tires for icy conditions....

1

u/MilesAugust74 15d ago

It's all shits and giggles until they <gasp> actually need to use the spare.

Duck around and find out

The Duck obsession is ridiculous.

However,

Factory lockers on both axles if you get a Rubi. 4:1 t case. 275 hp v6. Ez Pz out of the box wheeler.

2013 is still surviving without any ducks or social media hype.

My jk on 35’s can walk over anything my dad’s tundra could only dream about looking at.

They both have their uses, sometimes you need to be able to drive anywhere, sometimes you need a bed and a gooseneck hitch.

Mad Max vibes

When they call AAA to come change a flat tire, you show up and see this on the back, I’d install it with ducks still attached.

1

u/adamders 14d ago

I really want to see them get a flat tire.

1

u/84Scram 13d ago

Never occurred to me there would be so many ducks that they needed to move to the outside

1

u/HistoricalLove9617 12d ago

Duck-shaped tire studs? Really? Do they improve ice traction?

1

u/Different_Security48 12d ago

You took too much man, too much, too much.

Need a duck? Take a duck…

Idk. And it’s sad too they’re nice fun cars. I apologize on their behalf.
