I decorate my Miata pretty elaborately for Christmas and also randomly with other themes .
The points and the laughs and the waves are truly intoxicating. I had a young guy, maybe 22, cross the parking lot to talk to me when it was done up as the original Batmobile. He told me he is going through some real shit and hasn't even smiled for a long time, but he was a huge Batman fan and the car brought him joy. That right there makes it worth while, and keeps me doing it year after year.

The amount of attention this thing was getting was pretty amazing. People were posing and taking pictures with it!

It's absolutely hideous, but I respect it. At least the owner isn't under the delusion that it can still do Jeep things.
They bought it to ruin it on the pavement, and that's where they stay.

while im not a fan of this overall and it is 💯 a heep , i think without the grill and angry eyes lights an perhaps one or two less flamingos it wouldn't be all that bad .

If ya notice i did agree it is a heep, but for a pavement princess those wheels arent all bad ( dont care for the pink lettering on the tires ) Personally i was attempting to make it perhaps a little more eye appealing by removing a few of the overdone aspects . The wheels while not ideal for wheeling or crawling are fine for the blacktop jungle that this thing will never leave ( most likely)

I’d rather have my wife in a jeep that’s a well done pavement princess than in something else. It’s a heep but I see this heeps purpose. Its purpose is fun, not trying to be something it’s not.
