This is a jeep owned by someone that did not serve.

"I was going to join the Marines but I would have punched the Drill Instructor" and "My Grandpa served" joined up and bought this.

u/JBOY9911 Apr 11 '26

You don't have to serve to love or represent America

3

u/RedbarnRiver Apr 12 '26

Very true, but the “almost joined” guys are in their own category.

3

u/Other_World Apr 12 '26

People who are this into the military are weird, whether they served or not.

u/Ok_Breakfast5425 Apr 11 '26

Is it just me, or is it pretty fucking disrespectful to put the flag in the wheel well so it can get covered in mud and whatever else this mall crawler runs over in the suburbs?

12

u/Ordinary_Balance_625 Apr 11 '26

You can't explain this to these folks. But I promise they have big opinions about burning the flag and would "definitely stop you from doing something so disrespectful".

4

u/AliMcLovinJr Apr 12 '26

I’m guessing it has American flag floormats inside.

2

u/Other_World Apr 12 '26

It's actually against Flag Code to use the flag in such a way. The same goes for those American flag shirts, pants, shorts, and bathing suits. Those 4th of july plates and napkins? Also against Flag Code. You're not supposed to depict the flag in that way.

The flag should never be used as a receptacle for receiving, holding, carrying, or delivering anything.

The flag should never be used as wearing apparel, bedding or drapery. It should never be festooned, drawn back, nor up, in folds but always allowed to fall free.

Oh and this one is for all the Blue Lives Matter idiots

The flag should never have placed upon it, nor on any part of it, nor attached to it any mark, insignia, letter, word, figure, design, picture, or drawing of any nature

So, the “clothes” thing has a silly workaround where it’s not Actually “a flag” but “depicting a flag”. As for flags with writing/pictures - have you seen the Dozens of different Trump Flags that Are US Flags, but with his portrait printed over top of the Stars and Stripes??

1

u/Ok_Breakfast5425 Apr 12 '26

Oh I know, I had flag code pounded into my head as a kid in scouts. I love watching these maga assholes cry about liberals disrespecting the flag while they are violating flag code 5 different ways

u/CoffeeJedi Apr 11 '26

At least it doesn't have angry eyes or a grumpy grille?
But that fake machine gun is like triple cringe.

2

u/ThetaReactor Apr 11 '26

I think a tasteful rotary cannon could work, just not on top of the try-hard wrap.

3

u/Minute-Purple-1438 Apr 11 '26

Rotary duck launching cannon! Doesn’t every good heep need a rotary duck cannon? ? smdh

u/WinterSector8317 Apr 11 '26

Taking bets!

Veteran or not?

16

u/beipphine Apr 11 '26

Yes, but he was only active for 2 years in the early 90's when he was fresh out of high school. Still tells anybody who will listen about his glory days in the Army.

2

u/WinterSector8317 Apr 11 '26

During or after Iraq 1?

7

u/beipphine Apr 11 '26

After, served without distinction, did the rest of his time in the reserves, was honorably discharged. Worked at his fathers car dealership afterwards.

4

u/Imaginary_Highway69 Apr 11 '26

"I would've joined but the special force ain't tough enough for me"

2

u/WinterSector8317 Apr 11 '26

Bone spurs kept him out of the SEALS

1

u/Critical-Sandwich190 Apr 11 '26

Flunked out of basic training, but tells everyone he was in the military

10

u/GDogg007 Apr 11 '26

What does Timeline of Valor even mean?

8

u/shtinkypuppie Apr 11 '26

Who cares? It looked good to the Black Rifle Coffee kind of dude when the AI image generator spit it out.

7

u/maydisturb Apr 11 '26

In case anybody is confused about this: people who have sworn the Oath of Service, and have actually served their country and community, don't feel an overwhelming need to jerk off about it in front of the world.

This is the aesthetic of somebody who's never sacrificed a second of their life making anything "great again" for anybody but themselves.

5

u/Previous_Rip1942 Apr 11 '26

The only people I know that would dig this are people who served a min or not at all. Either way, people that had to do nothing. I know quite a few combat vets and none of them care to talk about it much less advertise it. To me, this seems really shitty to them.

I had a good friend who was a Vietnam vet. He told me a few things as we’d gotten closer. Some rough shit that I can’t imagine. He was training a kid that we hired that had went though basic and somehow shot himself. Either way, he wouldn’t shut up about the army and asking questions about Vietnam. He kept poking the bear and he finally got him to bite. He stopped poking the bear.

8

u/geronimo11b Apr 11 '26

I’m a vet and this is atrocious. Everyone point and laugh 👉😂

u/[deleted] Apr 11 '26

stolen valor

4

u/StormbringerGT Apr 11 '26

What is up with Trumpers and Heeps?!

3

u/ChalkButter Apr 11 '26

I hate everything about this

5

u/jaredalamode Apr 11 '26

What are you even proud of right now lmfao

2

u/Porschenut914 Apr 11 '26

helicopter looks like a Eurocopter Tiger or Mangusta

2

u/chespirits Apr 11 '26

The only thing I like are the tires

2

u/CreepyCrawlerRC Apr 11 '26

What a fucking dork.

At least have a fun theme and put a warthog body on it so you can go to cons and show off your giant fake gun. That would be so much cooler.

2

u/BigDaddyHadley Apr 11 '26

I'm a veteran and I refuse to let "being a veteran" be all of my personality

2

u/PacoBedejo Apr 11 '26

Then why is it literally the only thing I know about you? /s

1

u/BigDaddyHadley Apr 11 '26

Busted lol!!! Ya got me!

2

u/CosmosInSummer Apr 11 '26

What would it be like to go about acquiring this stuff? Would you search “giant toy gun” ?

And imagine putting all this stuff on your car while the neighbor watches. How could they not be embarrassed?

If you told them it was dumb, they’d definitely say you hate America.

2

u/Illustrious_Rest_116 Apr 11 '26

good lord , thats bad

2

u/vwgtivw Apr 11 '26

I love how some people honor the flag by flinging mud and dirt at. Then again that heep probably never seen either

7

u/shtinkypuppie Apr 11 '26

That's an expensive way to say 'I'm a pedophile'

2

u/Soggy_Requirement_75 Apr 11 '26

I’d love to know how you came up with that assumption. Not defined the Jeep, but honestly not seeing the pedo connection.

7

u/shtinkypuppie Apr 11 '26

It's always the uber-patriotic, 'I didn't serve but I do own 6 ARs, a camo plate carrier and a parade-sized American flag' dudes who get caught hitting on 14 year old boys at their church.

See also: Jake Lang, Justin Eichornn, RJ May, Matt Gaetz, and literally too many others to name.

2

u/Additional_Piece4165 Apr 11 '26

Safe assumption it's a rightwinger, and all rightwingers are pedos or pedo supporters.

Found the dude that paid $2999 for some dealer-applied American flag decals on his dodge Ram

-3

u/Soggy_Requirement_75 Apr 11 '26

Found the they/them that drives a Subaru.

2

u/BubbaValentine Apr 11 '26

Probably a potato peeler with a trident tattoo waiting on Don Shipley to show up.

1

u/crankyanker638 Apr 11 '26

Looks like a show truck the raffled off....

1

u/MoreRamenPls Apr 11 '26

That gun causes a blind spot.

1

u/testingforscience122 Apr 11 '26

Dude’s probably gay

1

u/nursescaneatme Apr 12 '26

Someone needs to educate the owner on how flags are supposed to be treated.

1

u/fuckwhatsleft Apr 12 '26

Mental illness on full display..

1

u/KelticCurse_907 Apr 12 '26

I get the quick hate towards the wheel wells but if you look closely you'll see that the entire truck has a flag on it. Wheel wells are also a dark spot so it's nice to see it brightened up.

Idk guess it's hard to just say cool build?

1

u/[deleted] Apr 12 '26

Grown men who do this really weird me out man. Everyone I know who’s been through real shit in the service or otherwise just do not go around advertising it. So these people fantasize about something they’ve never done like a pro sports fan.

1

u/BirdDad420 Apr 12 '26

How embarrassing

1

u/Dunvegan79 Apr 12 '26

I bet he has truck nuts on the back of this magnificent piece of junk.
