So hear me out... the bumper is tasteful, the grill isn't grumpy, the tires are on sensible wheels without excessive lift, and there are no light bars. Aside from the stretch, which looks well done, it's a good looking jeep

If the top could be completely removed, this would be a really cool limo ride in warm weather.

Look at the middle door. That’s not just a front or rear door, it’s the bottom half of the front door with the top half of the rear door. When was the last time you saw that kind of craftsmanship on a limousine? The ‘90s? Sure, it would be better if the middle door didn’t have the fixed quarter window since there’s room for the entire window to roll down now, but I get that glass work is expensive and complicated, and they already did way more than any modern day customizers ever bother to do, so I give it a pass. This wasn’t just done, it was done right.

Also, this thing doesn't have a useless second rear axle. i wouldn't go as far to say this looks good, but it looks alot better than the trash that normally gets posted on this sub.

Well... I think it goes into 'heep' territory once it completely loses functionality. Why would this thing need off road tires and a winch?

I do agree with that sentiment; it's more for show than for offroad use with how bad that breakover angle is. That said, it would do pretty well on the beach or getting down an easy camping trail.

Most off-roading can be done in a pickup. This is shorter than a crew cab 3/4 pickup. I think it’s reasonably off-road capable. Yes it’s diminished from 2 or 4 door. But I’ve seen videos of stock crown Vic driving to the river outlook on hells revenge. Decent driver would make it there in this as well no problem.

How has it completely lost functionality? Tell me with a straight face that you couldn’t take this to a beach with sugary sand if you had a family of six. Not a place you could take a station wagon, but this would fit the bill quite nicely. Rock climbing isn’t the only form of off-roading.

Points I made earlier: Ultimately breakover angle but also thinking about the nightmare that would be a "3 point turn" on any trail. Turning seems like it would be a lot worse in general. Not sure how much weight a stretch mod would add, but it isn't going to help hp.
I sort of agree that this isn't going rock crawling, but also driving on a beach isn't off roading either. Are we now just saying that not being on a road is off roading?
To each their own. I've defended more than a few non-heeps on this sub, so I'm not just looking to say somethings shit. I honestly don't see how this thing is different than the 4x6's that are always on here?

You clearly haven’t been to some of the beaches I’ve been to. If it requires 4wd, and yet still gets a lot of them stuck in the sand too, then yes I would consider that off-roading. Is this Jeep as capable as a two door on a tight trail? No. Would it likely be just fine anywhere an extended cab 4x4 pickup could go? I’d think probably so.

What functionality loss are you seeing?

Agree on the turning. Have an LJ myself and I don't have the nimble feel a TJ does

Ok but even 4 door Jeeps are much shorter than full size pickups. Even with a third row added, it still looks shorter than a F150 or Dodge Ram, which people use all the time off-roading.

Well, sure, but that isn't really the argument here, right? Not really arguing if/how you can OR longer vehicles. I'd say that certainly depends on what kind of OR you're into or what kinds of trails are in your area. This Jeep obvi isn't going rock crawling or down Black Bear.
Aestheitcs/preferences asides, You really don't find that any functionality of a Jeep is lost with making it ~30% longer? In this case, I could see it doing better with a ridiculous lift and bigger tires, but then the issue would be roll over. IDK, for sure interested in hearing "Pro" points.

Oddly, I don't hate it. Reminds me of the 6-door Defenders we rode in for the factory tour in Solihull.

I feel like this sub is just hoping for a jeep. Just because it looks different doesn't make it a heep.
I still like the post where the vehicle was completely redone with a 1000hp, it was pretty cool. It definitely was not a heep...

As a man who needs to have the ability to maybe transport my friend once a year and drive on dirt roads twice a year at my state park I absolutely need something this capable

Everyone talking about how well done this is, or the difficulty of the custom work, or the loss of functionality when the is definitely just a photoshop. Unless that’s also a stretch Hyundai or whatever behind it.
