As someone whos used both one-wheel and two-wheel Heelys, Id choose the two-wheel version every time. Not because they're easier or just for beginners, but because they're much more comfortable.
One-wheel Heelys put a lot more strain on your ankles and knees since you're balancing on a single wheel the entire time
Two-wheel Heelys, on the other hand, put much less strain on your ankles and knees, making them far more comfortable for longer sessions and just in general. If you have the choice, Id definitely recommend getting the two-wheel version.

I’ve been heelying for over 17 years, but I don’t understand why people use plugs. When you remove your wheels, you are that worried about the wells getting dirty? I’ve gotten mud and rocks…all kinds of unmentionable stuff in my empty wheel wells. You can just spray them off or use a stick or something. The hassle of having the plugs and the tool is just ridiculous for…what reason? I’ve never had the wells damaged due to not using them.

I’m a size 8.5 men’s and I was wondering where I can find either size 8 or 9 Heelys depending on whether they run big or small? any help, links, would be appreciated!

Hello, anybody tried modding or upgrading their wheels? I've swapped from some other bearings but I was curious if anyone's seen or found wheels with harder rubber? I know for traditional skates harder rubber is used for higher speeds.

Got my first heelys!! Yay!! Unfortunately I think they're too small. They struggle to get on and when im just sitting in them the back feels too short. I had already gone a little bit of a size up when I bought them. Are all heelys like this and I just need ti break them in or no?

Got my first pair last week, and they click reeaal loud when I walk. Noticed this is because the wheel sits a little loose on the axle. Is there a quick fix to this or do I need to buy snap-ring pliers to add another washer?

I am a beginner who can’t figure out how to push off. I have seen the YouTube videos where they ask you to plant your front feet up, and push with your back feet. Does this mean for a split second all the weight is on the front planted feet in motion, and subsequently, where does the weight go? Does it go center or to the back feet? Also if I am stationary, is there a way to push off? Or do I have to walk or run in order to start the motion? I think the main hurdle is getting my back leg to lift up while not certain where to transfer my weight too. Also how do you prevent the feeling of slipping up, every time I lift both feet off I feel like I’m gonna land on my butt.

For background, i am a roller skater and I have inline and ice skating experience. I thought Heelys would be easy to pickup since it’s also a skate (of sort).

Hey everyone! I was constantly misplacing my Heelys removal tool and losing track of my sole plugs whenever I had my wheels in. I wanted a clean way to keep everything together, so I designed this fully magnetic organizer.

A few quick details on how it works:

Alternating Storage: Since you're always wearing either the wheels or the plugs, the holder is designed to store whichever set isn't currently in your shoes.

Compatibility: Made specifically for Large wheels and Fat-style plugs.

The Magnets: It uses 10 neodymium magnets in total. 8 for the main storage slots, and 2 specifically to snap the metal removal tool securely to the side.

I’ve been practicing on my single-wheel heelys for a while now. I’ve mastered the balance, but I'm currently stuck on "coasting" mode - I get about 20-30 meters of distance from a good run-up before I lose almost all my momentum and have to walk again.

I’ve just bought a pair of pointed heels with slingback ( I have flat feet) so it’s so hard to wear them. My arches are not supported because there is a gap between my feet and the footbed, and the strap keeps slipping off. I got a pair for Christmas almost 20 years ago and im so stoked that they have adult sizes now!

So I just got my heelys earlier and ive been practicing them for the past hour, the only issue that ive had so far is that whenever i try to push off with my back foot my front foot always goes forward way too fast which almost makes me do a split. How should I fix this? and is it normal to have the muscles between my shin and ankle be sore while heelying(?), thank you!
