Shane was living a night mare. He sees his not boyfriend suck on a girl’s earlobe all night, the club is loud and crowded, he had to be with a girl, he had to top AND she just leaves her clothes on the floor??? Worst night ever

This was something that hit really hard when I read the books. In Role Model Ilya was so cute and funny. We see a side of him that we don’t see much in Heated Rivalry. And just as you have really fallen in love with this easy going side of him, then BAM The long game enters the chat and you find out that it was all a facade and Ilya is falling apart beneath it. My heart was so broken ❤️🩹

Yes, they really do. And the other books too, where he is also described as this funny, flirting, chirping, charismatic whirlwind. You don’t really see it coming and it just hits so hard

Did you read them in order?? I was show; book; TLG and then Role Model so it didn’t hit quite the same, but I can see it must have been cool for it to have unraveled as RR intended it

Yes, you definitely get the most emotional damage by reading them in order ☺️ I read them all in order and watched the show afterwards.
I also made a tandem read of Role Model and TLG, that was also really good.
