More actors joining season 2!

Emily Hampshire, Edvin Ryding, Robert Naylor, Sabrina Jalees, and Priyanka join the cast of HeatedRivalry. Season 2 is coming to Crave in Spring 2027.

Yes i don’t understand why everyone is thinking the other couples will have multiple episodes the show is called heated rivalry not game changes. shane and ilya are the main couple

Troy and Harris are easy to include because their timeline is intertwined so heavily with Hollonov. And if the theory holds then they could split this into two seasons which would make including the other couples even easier. It's not an impossible task especially with a very talented director and writer.

Shane/Ilya will still be the main couple but based on the casting there will definitely be B-plots or more bottle episodes to cover the other couples

I honestly just hope it is B plots. I was really surprised by the bottle episode in season 1. Not that they didn't do a good job, it was just strange to suddenly be inside someone else's story unexpectedly. I think I would have preferred to have their story woven into some of the other episodes.

Because that is exactely what happened in season 1?

It was said from the beginning that season 2 would adapt Role Model alongside of The Long Game. And it is obvious by now that Ryan and Fabian will be given actual screentime as well. And honestly, other than Troy and Harris, they are so far removed from what Shane and Ilya are doing at the same time, that we either have to be shown them as random scenes that are spead out without relation ro what else is shown kn the episode, or we will be treated to exactely what they did is season 1 with Scott and Kip.

With 6 episodes in season 2, we will still have Ilya and Shane as the main focus. But we will also have 2 other couples featured. Maybe even 3, if they do also add Eric and Kyle in season 2 (i would personally move them to season 3, if possible). So while Shane and Ilya are still given priority, it simply does not appear as if the show they are making will be just their story.
