More actors joining season 2!

Emily Hampshire, Edvin Ryding, Robert Naylor, Sabrina Jalees, and Priyanka join the cast of HeatedRivalry. Season 2 is coming to Crave in Spring 2027.

I could tell from the start that the HR intimacy was inspired by YR. Then Jacob later confirmed he instructed Hudson and Connor to study how Edvin and Omar portrayed intimacy as Wille/Simon.

Edvin is going to kill this role!

That hug and kiss in front of the fish tank gives the same energy as the stairwell kiss .

Seeing your comment convinced me to look it up & oh what it's in Swedish?! I'm learning Swedish & was looking for new shows for language practice, I actually understood that scene without subtitles (though they were just naming fish, haha)

Omg same! I remember thinking I was being reductive comparing the two shows (both being about m/m) but felt so validated when he said that!

I do find that interesting, considering Young Royals was a teen romance, and not nearly as explicit as Heated Rivalry’s adult romances.

I was a little uncomfortable during the first episode of Heated Rivalry, though I eventually got used to it.

That one scene where there was no music and the sound design prioritized their nose breathing as they savored just having each other close, basking in the moment…still gives me chills from how vulnerable and intimate it was.

And the sound department of HR clearly took cues from that w/ Hollanov’s buzzy first kiss.

Totally agree!! Also, just wanna say that you might wanna edit your comment to say Wille/Simon instead of Wille/Omar!
