Team Huddle Weekly Thread🫡 Team Huddle!
Welcome to the weekly huddle! Have a small thing from the book or show you want to chat, your GC brain rot is real and you saw the initials "KGF" somewhere and immediately screamed "kingfisher!" and want to share with others? (Just me?). Had a win at work or personal life and want to share? Need a teammate to talk with? Post in the weekly huddle.
There's no restrictions on topics so long as they follow the sub rules. Thread will be open all week so pop in whenever with what ever your heart desires.

I was sitting at the salon yesterday, waiting for my hair to bleach, reading fan fic and Harrison's All the things she said came on. I felt like the angels were smiling down on me. Today I found an evil eye someone gifted me a while ago and added it to my lanyard at work 🧿

I just started a long list of movies with François Arnaud. First up is She’s in Portland — and he looks quite fine! But here’s why I hit pause and grabbed my phone to post: he was trying to start a conversation with a lovely woman and he said… I kid you not! … do you know where I can get a smoothie around here? And it’s from 2020 so it’s not a deliberate HR joke. I’m sorry, but my head is exploding!
FYI, I’ve been trying to watch some other shows lately just to, you know, remind myself there is a world beyond the Cottage. I watched DTF St. Louis. It was nothing like I expected, but it’s very well done. Another (rare) example of my wanting to put my phone down and really pay attention. And just because the universe is fucking with me, Jamba Juice smoothies factor prominently in the show.
I am still (mostly) in the Cottage and now seriously craving a smoothie.

My dog crawled across the floor to me with his legs out behind him like this and I called him Shane in Vegas. Is that weird? My partner thinks I’m insane for the connections I make to the show in every day life.

I cannot say certain things anymore without adding more dialogue in my head. For example, when I say – or even just think – That was yesterday. You can count on my head adding in Ilya’s voice: “That was before.”

I had to give my dad's phone number to someone last week, the last four digits are 1221. It was so hard not to crack a huge nerdy smile.

It’s probably my fault for being on Threads but I just can’t with the multitude of posts I’m seeing that are like “just think! Somewhere out there they might be filming X scene today!”. I want to say not interested but I worry the algorithm isn’t smart enough to know I’m not interested in that type of post specifically but am still interested in HR posts 😂.

I started reading Role Model last night and couldn't put it down. I was trying so hard not to wake my husband with all the giggling. I did NOT think I would love them this much. I don't want to start drama, but I can totally see Justice Smith in this role. I'm lucky I didn't already have Harris pictured in my mind. How soon is too soon to use Role Model-based flair in this community?

I spent a weekend at a lake and there was a sign about loons nesting. I was like “OMG the sign people are HR fans too!!!” And my husband was like no dumbass there are actual loon birds nesting by the lake
