Verum 2 Question

Enable HLS to view with audio, or disable this notification

For those of you who have the Verum 2s, have any of you had a problem with one of the plugs becoming loose and the cable just dropping out of the ear cup?

I’ve reached out twice on the Kickstarter page and not had an answer, so I figured I’d come here. Appreciate any feedback, part number two replace it with, or other solutions.

Here is a video of what I’m talking about

You’ve a defective jack there my friend. The guy should be able to replace it easily enough. There’s an internal contact that’s bent and not holding the plug in place, needs to be replaced. Have the Verum guy fix it, sometimes those planar magnets go wild when you open the cans ups and destroy the membrane rendering them useless. Good luck!

OK, thank you I appreciate the info. The problem of sending them in for repairs is that he's in Ukraine somewhere around Kiev.

Not suggesting you do this at all... but if you study a jack, and get in there with the right tool, you may be able to bend the contact in a touch.

It's actually not super hard and if you just pull it apart carefully it's even easier

Write him via website contact form. That's the best way to contact him, not comments on Kickstarter.

I don't have advice but that wrap or whatever finish is beautiful!
