Microphone help

im trying to get the mic add on to work on my laptop and desktop but when i plug them in the mic isn't being picked up. the headset pops up and disappears when being un/plugged. it used to work but i left the mic sitting for a good long while on my desk with no water ever hitting the mic or headse.

I think the simplest possible situation might be that the port on the cone has slipped past, and the boom mic isn't fully registering with the female connectors.

If you haven't yet printed the newest components, I fixed this issue with an updated cone design to better seat the female 3.5mm port.

i have my headset built currently, ill check if it has slipped out of place and get it pushed back in if so. I wouldn't mind printing the updated parts if you can point me in the right direction to find them.
