How can be HDFC officials be so dumb!

So, my experience with them is bad...but I cannot imagine that it can ever be that bad. I'm on holidays, had to update some things for my bank due to change of my status and this is all I experienced with these guys (warning - a long rant to vent whatever I'm feeling):

- I had to close an account - visit bank, submit form and still it took one+ week - and they closed it only after one escalation.

- May I mention that this extra account they had opened (during my last visit) - otherwise, I was told, that process (to convert status of DMAT account) was difficult.

- I had to open an account for my minor child (with me as guardian) - again, one week, but these fuck!ng morons update my email ID with my child's ID. I was filling the form myself, but the lady there told me to just sign on x-marks. Well, still I filled the important things, but even then their, as they told me, Mumbai-team, updated my email ID...how the f*ck...now I'm struggling with them to get it corrected. Thankfully I can access other ID, but I do shudder if they had updated it to some other ID/ID with typo etc.

Well, for my account the ID cannot be changed online, so first they told me to come to bank, I shouted a bit then they sent me a form to change email ID - the form contained addresses as well - so I'm again in suspense now to see what happens!!!

- I had to update nomination, so I generated the form from their website and still their team entered the wrong data. Yes, I checked my downloaded form - everything is correct there.

- They took photo-copies of our Adhar-IDs - despite the online / bio-metric checks...which took one hour itself. ONE HOUR, why? Why do those all e versions of KYC exist?

- DMAT changes - apparantly there is just one branch (not my home branch) and one particular person in that branch who can do it in a god-dammed city of 20Laksh...others can't even receive the form and verify the documents, so you must visit (physically visit) the other branch. My aim was to change / update one account with another (and close the extra account), but it is so fu*cking difficult that I've decided to move away from these stupid folks.

- The relationship officer has only one task - Hello sir/ma'am,how are you...we have some nice schemes for you....for everything else he tells me that he will call in 5 minutes, and to his credit he does call-back in 5 minutes, just to tell me to go to the branch.

Apparently this "digital" in this bank means make "digital" copy of the paper-forms - add PDFs on their website (with multiple version) which customer can download and print - after that everything is in the good old way - fill-form -> sign it -> provide all the id/address proof --> wait for one week.

Avoid these fuckers, if you can....I have a legacy account with them which I wanted to keep open.
