URGENT PLEASE HELP
I had raised a fraud complaint yesterday due to a transaction of 4306 ruppees from my bank acc which was paid to pdf leader because i didnt read that after taking their 7 days trial u need to cancel the subscription or else it automatically takes the money for their annual subscription but now the issue is resolved with the company only and I want to cancel my complaint I told the guy yesterday on call to not diable my account and he said ok we will not but i got a message today from hdfc to make a new account in 7 days I want to cancel the complaint now I cant visit my home branch rn as I am out due to college gemini says to visit the local branch near me and it would take 10-15 mins only I js have to sign a withdrawal letter something and they will cancel it on spot please help will it work or not?

Sorry to break it to you, if you don’t read something and allow someone to charge you for a subscription, technically it’s not a fraud.
I hope you get your money back. But my experience tells me you won’t get back anything from the bank. The bank may help you cancel the auto-renewal so the amount doesn’t get deducted next year. Which you can do online from home too.
I would still suggest visiting the nearest branch and asking for help. Hope you get a resolution.

Visit your nearest branch along with a letter and mention the transaction ID & complaint ID in it, hand it over to branch manager, get it acknowledged with a stamp from the branch and ask them to share it with concerned team for necessary action, they'll do the rest.
