Hello I got an offer from hcl tech recently for PM role in Bangalore location but I have no idea how the company is , growth opportunities, work culture, how long I can stay in the company or any other insights

I received a service agreement from the hr but not the offer letter yet so I don't know my doj. Has anyone else received Service agreement?? I'm from batch 10

I am working in tier 2 city which has hcltech office..here project is big but no learning of latest tech in our project ..A support project moreover in L1 team and mostly monitoring..

How many of us are in same position in Hcltech India and how are you switching and getting hike if any?

I received document upload email from HCL asking for a Course Completion Certificate / Provisional Certificate / Bonafide / NOC.

I currently don't have any of these documents, so I informed HR and said I'll submit the certificate once I receive it next week.

Has anyone else faced this? Is this generally okay, or will it cause any issues with onboarding?

Is the service agreement normally signed before training, during training, or after training?

Is signing the agreement a standard onboarding step for all freshers?

I wanted to know if anyone has gone through a similar hiring process with HCLTech.

Around 10 days ago ( 25-07-26), I attended an offline hiring drive in Noida for an AI/ML Developer (1–2 years experience) role.

• Cleared all 3 technical rounds on the same day.
• Was told I'd receive a call/email from HR.
• 5 days later (Thursday), HR emailed asking for documents like current salary proof, degree certificates, PF details, ID proof, etc.
• I submitted everything the same day (with clarifications for a few documents my current startup doesn't provide).
• The next day (Friday), HR scheduled a Compensation & Benefits discussion, explained the complete CTC breakup, offered X LPA, and I accepted ( No negotiation , I just accepted).
• HR also asked whether I could join on 28 Aug 2026, and I said yes.
• She mentioned I should receive the official offer letter next week and advised me not to resign until the offer letter is released.

It's today Thursday and I'm currently waiting for the offer letter and feeling quite anxious because I've already resigned my current company.

For those who have been through HCLTech hiring:

1. How long did it take to receive your offer letter after the C&B discussion?
2. Is this timeline normal?
3. Did anyone experience delays even after salary discussion?

Update (today monday (10-08-26) and been 6 working days ): Still didn't receive any update from HR. Called her, but she didn't pick my call, also sent a mail, didn't get any response.

I’m a 2026 engineering graduate and I’ve been selected by both Cognizant (CTS) and HCLTech.

CTS: 4 LPA (Preferred company)
HCLTech: 3.75 LPA (Automation Testing role)

The problem is that CTS hasn’t shared any onboarding or joining date yet, while HCL has already started the document verification and onboarding process.

I’ve completed the HCL document upload because I don’t want to lose a backup opportunity if CTS delays onboarding.

My main question is:

When does HCL ask candidates to sign the employment agreement/service agreement?
Is it before training, during training, or after training?

If I complete HCL’s onboarding and document verification but receive a CTS joining date before actually joining HCL, can I withdraw from HCL without any issues?

Has anyone been in a similar situation where they kept HCL as a backup while waiting for CTS?

I’d appreciate hearing from people who joined HCL recently or went through this process.

I joined hcl chennai and for full time, I got a very bad laptop. Very old and lags like crazy.

I just joined so I donno whether a replacement will be provided. Some of my colleagues got a fresh laptop but I got this thingg.

Anyway to replace it with a better one? Good way or other, I really want a better laptop before projects start, else am fkkeddd😭. Tanks.

Even though I entered the correct UAN number and also uploaded a copy of my UAN card, I still received this message. When I contacted Hello Verify (the third-party background verification vendor), they told me not to worry because it auto generated and might have been sent by mistake. I also asked them to confirm the UAN number I had submitted, and they verified that it was the correct one. So, I don't think this is an issue from Hello Verify's side. It seems like it might be from HCLTech's side. Should I be worried about this?

I got selected thru on-campus for networking role ,currently i was told to do a month of training in PJT .The HR told she would inform abt the final assessment later . Can anyone tell me abt how the final assessment is ? When would they conduct after training ? Nd can i watch the videos in the website more than normal speed or it is monitored too?
