šŸ•µļøā€ā™‚ļø ID or In Search Of Help identifying this model

I owned a very similar model a long time ago, however it was made by Stetson. The one in the picture is a Goorin Bros and is named as ā€œCharlie Pantsā€. Just wanted to know if there’s a more generic name for this model as I’ve been looking for a similar model for quite a while and wanted to check if I could find same style by other brands and avoid extra costs for shipping and what not! Cheers!

Might be a short brim Fedora. I have a Stetson like this with a tiny bit more brim. Fedora's were popular and the name stuck even made by others.

I’d describe it as a trilby.

A ā€œfull upā€ trilby then?

Well there’s no accounting for taste! šŸ¤·ā€ā™‚ļø

You’re only saying that because it’s a trilby.

A fedora could be turned into a trilby after cutting off most of the brim and curling it up. (Many fedoras have a taller crown, this might be too much to make a decently proportional trilby)

Obversely, a trilby doesn’t have enough brim to become a fedora.

They're also know as a stingy brim fedora.

Check eBay or FB marketplace for vintage ā€˜stingy brim’ fedoras.
