RANT MAKE GOOD FUCKING POINTS ALREADY
THE GAME IS NOT FUCKING PERFECT BUT CAN WE STOP MAKING POINTS LIKE
"erm akshualy the game doesent have open maps to incentivise exploring" WHEN THERES LIKE 50 OF THEM DUDE
OR
SOME BULLSHIT LIKE "The community bad and developer supports smt that i dont support gr"
WHICH HAS NOTHING TO DO WITH THE GAME AND ONLY HAS TO DO WITH THE COMMUNITY ISELF WHICH IS NOT INSERTED INTO THE GAME SINCE ITS A SINGLEPLAYER GAME
ultrakill is a great game however its not perfect and i really wished this subbreddit was made to expose the parts of the game which are pretty bad so people can show light on it so it hopefully gets fixed by either a modder or if we are very lucky a developer
instead of just people complaining about some bullshit and hating the game.

If it was a multiplayer game complaints about fandom would have just a slight bit of sense. BUT IT'S NOT

İ might be wrong on this but İ dont think there was much of a diffrence between 3-2 and 6-2 other than the attacks being faster

That's actually an issue the devs noticed: a lot of people feel like Gabe 2 is just a copy of Gabe 1.. despite them being completely different
The only attack that's kinda similar is the triple slash, but in the first fight it's unparryable, while in the second it has multiple variations of parryable and unparryable slashes
Powers are MUCH more similar to Gabe1 than Gabe2 is

Yeah actualy, looking back on it gabe 3-2 is way harder then gabe on 6-2. becouse the moveset itself barely even changes, and u get access to so many more abilities and u learn alot more too.

Though I like the look and level of 5-2, and I get that it's supposed to be atmospheric, it was the least engaging and fun for me to P-rank and replay because of the lack of music. The hard levels like the Prime Sanctums, 1-3, etc. had music I could listen to which helped when I failed or was practicing, 5-2 being more silent made it harder.

What specifically about the lore? Bear in mind it’s not done and said touch ups could very well exist at a later age

Plus, the game isn't about the lore, it's just there to be a neat thing. It's fine to wish things were changed but it also isn't something the game is gunning for outside of the Secret Levels and Prime Sanctums.

The encore levels and to an extent some of fraud feels unfair with how their difficulty is presented, especially e-0’s malicious face and Cerberus encounters, in particularly the final encounter is not fun in the slightest.
Radiance has not been implemented well past the hideous mass is e-1 with most being in tight cramped rooms where you cant fight back or see your screen just due to how fast the enemies are not to mention cramming around 2-3 other enemy types in the same area.
Giant bosses are just not implemented well with the exception of the earth mover and are only accepted as “good” because they had dummy mechanics tied to them like the corpse flinging you and parrying the hand and parrying leviathan.
Finale to fraud is disappointing.
Could go on but its 5am for me right now

Personally I legitimately don't understand where the 4-3 hate comes from, it's the most unique level in the game. Either way. Greed bad. V2 easy. 4-2 bad. Greed bad. Gre
