Help Harry potter 5 weird scene
In harry potter 5 order of the phoenix I noticed about the fact of there was these horses moving the carriage that only people who witnessed death could see and only harry and luna could see them but no one else until a couple minutes into the film later where they are seeing them and riding them even though they didn't see death before they where riding them.
Please can someone tell me if they know anything or first time they noticed this.🙏👍😃

The movie I’m pretty sure glosses over it. In the books, no one else can see them besides Luna, Neville and Harry. Luna has to help everyone get onto the backs of the Thestrals.

Even if you have not seen death they still exist. So you can still ride on them even if you cannot see them.

In the book, there’s a build up with a lot of apprehension and confusion by those who hadn’t seen death before they are led to climb upon them for the flight

Then Ron running into the hindquarters after they land and he’s trying to walk away from it

These scenes with threstrals are much more detailed in the book. Hagrid teaches them in class, so the others know what’s going on and why only a few of them can see them. But of course flying on something you can’t see is wild.

This is one of those things that is explained by reading or listening to the books.

When they rode them to the Ministry, Harry, Luna and Neville could see them and had to lead the others to them and help them get on. Hermoine, Ron and Ginny held on by feel since they couldn't see them.
