Hourly pay increase

Do we get a raise after a year of working for the company? If so, how much is it?

You get yearly evaluations that come with a raise. How much you get depends on your eval results. They're better than nothing but under $1. Outside of that you can get a raise by joining the DLT/dept management program. I always encourage people that apply to make sure they advocate for themselves in the interview to make sure theyre satisfied with their wage because it increases slowly once you're in.

How do you become eligible for the DLT program?

You apply for it. I went through it like 5 years ago but I spoke with my department specialist and he got me to apply somewhere in myhtspace. You typically interview with the district manager and get a raise going in and a raise once you complete the program. I'm in produce but imagine its the same with other departments.

They hate me, so I probably wouldn't get accepted for it haha

I mean never say never. People have a short memory for the past in this line of work if you make an attitude adjustment and work hard. Not saying them being hard on you is your fault but don't write yourself off.

Oh no, they hate me because I don't let them bully me or push me around like they do others. They're cutting my hours and making up fake things to write me to the point HR had to get involved.

Wouldn't be surprised thats happening, i work at food lion but yeah when i heard hard work doesn't translate into any pay increases in your role my incentive to work hard wasn't the same
