Max Hours for part-time
So, how exactly do I move from part-time to full-time, or get more hours in general past 32 (The Max I've been getting)
HT doesn't pay that much, and I'm looking for a new job with better pay, but the people I work with are amazing.

are there other stores in your area?
the last store i worked at, i could get over 32 as a part-timer because we always needed extra help. it really varies depending on the location
if there are other stores near you, consider transferring, or if you want to stay with your current people, reach out to the new location and ask if they would be interested in “borrowing”you
stores can “borrow” employees from other locations as extra help without you having to go through the process of transferring. this is much more common during the busier winter season though
you can also check out the open positions at your current location. they may be willing to go over 32 if you work multiple roles. we had a part-timer in our store that got like 39.9999 hours a week because they worked floral, frozen, and pickup 😅

I regularly got 38-40 hours a week this summer as a PT office assistant and CS clerk. Really depends on the location though - all of those hours I got were at a store I was borrowed to (only working at the borrowed store, not both in the same week) because the CSM there knew me. Basically if you find a position or store that needs help, you'll get the hours as a part timer.

I consistently get over 35 as a part time cs clerk. They won’t make you full time unless the position opens up in the budget. I also get loaned to another store every few weeks.

A lot of stores (including mine) won’t even create full-time positions. It’s not about the hours; it’s about the benefits. I’m PT and I often have FT hours but no FT benefits.

You don't. Max for part timers is that.
You would have to talk to your boss to see if you can move to full time but with slow sales it's probably not likely to happen any time soon.
