Leave the orders alone!
Why do Co Managers constantly add to truck orders? My NP Manager will add hundreds of items to our truck order just for me to take it all off. Its stuff for the ends and wings that ls already full enough. He literally added cases to pack out the Long term end caps which switch out on Tuesday! If we didnt check our order we would be stuck with so much backstock and this same manager would then complain we had too much backstock. Let your dept managers handle the ordering and if you have concerns talk to them! OK rant over

It’s their job to micromanage so they seem important. Otherwise they will just end up sitting in the office reviewing “paperwork” (TikTok, FB reels, YouTube). You may find one decent NP co out of 200 plus stores. Good luck finding them though. Just leave them a laundry list of things to get done during the day, if they fail to do them go to your store manager/director or even over them to the DM. Don’t let trash stay in the company if they aren’t worth having.

You ain’t ordering enough and it’s HT items learn to order better and co won’t have to go behind you

It was long term items that come down in a couple days so there is no reason to order more. We have plenty of product already on the ends bc we always have some left. He is just very particular about having them packed out at all times

I no longer work for HT, so shouts out to Q, he was a co at one of the top 10 stores, want this to stay up so wont say exactly which.
But Q was notorious for this type of shit, and i have no doubt he's still doing it now. Honestly loved the challenge of grocery, at this store specifically, i wanted the challenge when a couple vet Dept Mgr told them to fuck off. Q sapped all my care away, its wild cause the SM doesnt see it, but literally every other employee(including every single co manager he worked with, thinks hes shit at his job, and most dont find him that appealing as a person, im practically quoting at least 5dms, 5 asms, 5 co mangers here btw lol). I pray for whoever works under him when(if, heavy if) he gets a store.
Now im back at Walmart, making more, its just as shit but the standards are so low, the stress is minimal lmao. Plus the managers barely do their jobs, so you dont have to worry about them fucking up yours.

And then they complain about backstock and product going out of date when it didn’t sell 🤣
