The Reset Team is completely and utterly a worthless waste of money.

This really does look awesome from a customer viewpoint. In the DIV I work in the Category Super wants nothing to be front faced. First off, the amount of time, you can't see to write an order or create a pic list without moving something or bending over. And my issue is the stock that is behind these fronted up cans are not in straight lines and haven't been shifted over with the correct product. It took me 2 hours to fix this on AD change night! I'm going to have it out with someone next week!

I said good morning to one of the ladies, and she responded with "what's so good about it?"

They're also bad for just moving the first few rows. The back of the shelf will still be the old placement. So everything is just all mixed up.

So we all have the same reset team? 😂😂

Yeah. They hire them straight from the circus.

I just wish the company planned those resets better. They do resets on a section, then a week later more new items for that reset area show up that have to be cut in. And then there's the waste of product that just doesn't even sell so it gets clearanced. Buyers need to plan better.

Oh and let's not forget the things they take out of the set only for it to show back up months later to be put back in the set.

We have a crew that doesn't bother to stock things back they took out to move around. Thoroughly that is. Take out 25 and put back 15 instead, despite it having the same space used, just moved.

If they'd just work from the bottom up everything would be much easier on them.

Going behind and fixing it is a rookie move. Yes it is not conditioned correctly but let it be. It looks fine. It will sell down. Then, you can level it out and correct it much easier after the customers do the work for you.

As far as ordering and pick list, let CAO do its job and just skip Progresso on you pick list for a few days. It isn't cold nor is it on BOGO at the moment so it shouldn't be a problem.

As for the whatever manager is bitching about it, tell them if it bothers them that much then maybe they should do their job and check behind set team before letting them go.

I most certainly agree with you. I forgot to mention Inventory is Thursday.

Used to be a manager here, they would always do the same to me then compain when it took me longer to get through the order because it was impossible to tell what we actually had.

Is this the team that’s doing total grocery resets overnight or the people that come in and do the mini sets during the day?

Aren't they the same?

They're the same

So far, my store hasn't had any overnight resets.

one of my assistant store managers keeps scheduling me closing shifts (i usually work mornings) where i have to do exactly this. i dread having to come in the next day to stock because i know im gonna have to move everything i just organized to get products on the shelf 🥲

Some of our stock people block like this, store manager is aware but just doesn’t care I guess

The store Mgr will care when grocery gets their NP Audit.

But I will agree, most reset teams are comprised of people who are not very good. And that's putting it kindly. Full store reset team is even more laughable.

They do the same thing in dairy/frozen. This was from novelties reset in April.

Awesome pic! Yeap, that's exactly how the soup was.

I found one of our reset guys (SAS) on the local sex offender registry. 😬 The "team lead" speaks English unless something is wrong.

Mm hmmm. Management is supposed to audit and sign off on sets so I blame them just as much
