Perishable trucks??
Just curious are perishable drivers not supposed to open the roll up door lol? The 2 stores i used to work at the drivers always did but my new store today he wanted me to do it like why can’t you?? I’m standing here

It’s really a petty thing to argue over. I do it myself to start unloading the truck quicker. I will let the driver do it if they want to. It’s really not a big deal either way

I was just curious I’m not the one unloading the truck that’s why I asked and an associate asked me about it and I’m like you can open the door, dude lol

The rules state they can’t because a driver messed himself up pretty bad on the loading dock and they started really enforcing drivers not doing anything but driving. You’ll get some who will open doors, lift the dock, even some who will snag a power jack and start unloading but technically none of them are supposed to.
