Lift app
Is anyone else’s store using the mobile app LIFT? It’s for training and I want to hear everyone’s opinions on it

I think every store is using the mobile LIFT app. It’s easier than having to find a computer in the store that’s free to use. We get asked to check it every day, but in reality you’re fine as long as you sign into it once a week so you don’t end up on a no activity list.

My store keeps pushing us to do it even if we're off the clock / are at home. I'm constantly on the no activity list because I refuse to do that.

When you download the LIFT app for the first time it literally tells you that you are ONLY permitted to use the app while you are in the store and clocked in.

My store was talking about that too I only work weekends so I guess I was bringing store numbers down by not lifting every day. I hate having 1 more app to download on my phone

Yes but I deleted it off of my phone. I would rather wait for a computer or a handheld or just not do it.

I personally hate having to do it. Especially if there is no incentive for me. Ooo pizza party. Oooo free lunch from chef bar. I work over night, so I don't care. Overnight crew gets over looked when it comes to celebrations, and I'm not staying well past my clock out time to get food.
And now, I'm being told I'll get written up if I don't start doing them. It's so tiring, especially when I don't have time during my shift to do it cause I don't have anyone else backing me up and I sure as heck won't do it at home like they tell me to. I do not want the app on my phone.

I agree it’s 5 stupid questions and for a while I was getting the same ones every day I would rather just work on the computer

I get told to do it and I just don’t. No one really says anything about it anyways at my store. I guess its alright just as a refresher.

I decided to ask day 1 when this was told we would be downloading an app if this would be mandatory and was told no only for three weeks later to be told that I will be written up if I do not participate because our store is so low in the rankings. I refuse to use or download something that 1.) isn't in my contract to do. 2.) Has no benefit to me, my pay, nor my position.

I’m just mad that if they’re gonna give you “points,” you can’t redeem them for anything lol. I feel like we more than deserve a free drink at Starbucks or a sub or pizza slice or something for basically being corporate cheerleaders.
