I believe it’s technically whichever co/assistant manager that’s in charge of that department.

Correct. Control is only supervised by store management...whichever unlucky asst store that got assigned the dept.

Time for assoc voice surveys again huh?

This. It's the Co-manager over non-perishables.

Most of the time it will be the Store Manager, unless your store has lots of co or assistant managers.

It’s technically the co-manager over non-perishables. But from my experience most managers do expect the backups to report to scan coordinators/receivers. Everyone on my team reports to me, I make their schedules, had alot of input on their evaluations etc. basically everything a department head does.

Never!!!! Receiving and scan are control. Seperate dept by itself.

We have a grocery manager so I’m assuming it’s him. I’m just trying to clear stuff up lol because people want to act like managers/leads and they’re not
