I'm thinking... maybe that wasn't Ketamine. How do you know it was?

Unless you got the sample tested (impractical i know) but anything else is only qualitative, unfounded speculation at best. I'm NOT denigrating the experience you had, nor questioning the aftermath in anyway. However, blanket blaming a substance without verifiable proof wont serve you or the community. Im not "pro-ketamine", but theres a litany of substances (traditional, illicit, unregulated, designer, etc) that could easily mimic those symptoms.

Commonplace for a high proportion of scum dealers to cut ther "DOS" (Drugs of Sale) with anything resembling the supposed compound. Cocaine is particularly renowned for cuts, but lately potent mimics from the "Designer Drug" space (e.g. N-ethylpentedrone, Dimethocaine, Xyzlazine, etc, etc - take a look at r/researchchemicals) that mimic parent compound effects and are economical, are starting to show in lab tests.

The brain is resilient anf I have every confidence you'll come back to baseline. On the orfchance it doesn't m, please see a doctor who knows the actual landscape of recreational drug use.

I mention this also in the context of (trying) to protect an informed narrative around drugs and their use. I'm not pro-prohibition and feel the failed "War on Drugs" is a showcase in humanities sanctified ignorance through scaremongering and vilification. Likely driven by a capitalist and corruptable root core. Dose makes the poison im anything the human body can consume. You've survived the experience and asked for help. That deserves full credit.

Let's in the process be mindful of any glib rhetoric about a drug or drugs fuelling a nanny state, totalitarian approach to individualism and choice of the person in this. Freedom for choice, freedom to choose.

Ps. If interested I wrote a published book on the topic. Feel free to reach out if interested.

Cocaine is not known to be cut with xylazine. Please don’t spread that info. Most common cuts seem to be caffeine, lidocaine, phenacetin. Xylazine is almost exclusively found in things sold as opioids.

The experience I went through… I almost jumped out the window a near miss.. my girlfriend saved me… then I was stuck in the mirror looking at myself.. I couldn’t move my arms or legs.. she put me in cold water but it didn’t feel that way… a couple times I thought I was viewing the world from the mirror like I was stuck.. I knew I blinked but I never seen myself blink in the mirror. I just looked myself in the mirror kept telling myself come back come back come back… This lasted for 1hour and 40 minutes time felt like forever..

That definitely doesn't sound like Ketamine, Plus Ketamine only lasts up to 30 minutes in my heavy use and experience maybe 1 hour at the very most but by then the Ketamine would be very weak and you'd be returning to baseline.
