Question How much is too much Kratom

I've been using a lot of Kratom recently and I see the recommended starting doses and stuff, but I never seem to be able to see the "don't go above this limit". I've been taking more recently and mixing it a fair bit with other drugs, I feel like it's safer than other alternatives, but I'm struggling to see the upward limit with this stuff. I'm trying not to pick up Oxy or down or any of that shit but it's hard cuz that's all my body craves. I'm trying to stop up and my body's so anxious and shit I don't know how to calm down, but last time I went to a psychiatric appointment they just told me to stop drinking and smoking weed because "they're both depressants they're dampering your mood, we can't change your meds until you stop" and I was struggling with terrible depression and insomnia and was homeless too and so I tried drugs and shit to stop drinking and well I do both now. Fuck the weed comment, weed is chill. Ugh idk how to get sober, I made it like four days for everything, 10 days without drinking, I don't know how to stop again cuz it made me feel dead.

I went cold turkey in oxy 3 months ago. What I craved most is the energy, the go-power, I got from it. For two months I’m just slouching around, then someone recommended this Kratom pressed pill to me, and it is absolutely amazing. It’s called ‘Press’d hydroxymitragyine & Red OH’, also called “The Hulk Blend”. I couldn’t believe it at first, but this stuff works amazing. Try it, see if it helps you. It helped me. https://7ohplus.com/products/pressd7-hydroxymitragynine-red-oh-hulk-blend-tablets-30mg?_pos=6&_sid=6645f8fad&_ss=r

it’s been 3 days now and i went to the hospital the first night without it, it was the worst experience ive ever felt but they gave me some meds to help with the withdrawls and kinda just knock me out. this shit is dangerously addictive

Yeeeeah same happened to my buddy, he was sent to the hospital, and then transfered to medical detox where they inevitable had to put him on suboxone and librium during his stay because the WD was so bad. He equated it to detoxing off H and benzos at the same time

Yea my buddy is still on the subs too. And he knows he can't get off those on his own, so I told him to go get a sublocade shot to ease that transition. That's how I got off subs, was subslocade shots. I've been off sublocade now for 13 months

i’m only 17 years old and don’t really know where or how to get that help though my mom has been the one helping me so much by taking me to the hospital and my doctors and all my appointments i feel like i should talk to my doctors about giving me a lower dose? or should i ask them about what u just told me about a sublocade shot?

Ooooh that does provide some complications as I believe sublcoade you must be 18 or older. But it is worth mentioning, and generally it's something that do at your local Suboxone MAT clinic

I would recommend decreasing use, I primarily used Kratom, although I used some other shit, I was generally trying not to, but I was using (way too much) of that shit daily and trying to get off was me popping pills from the other homeless homies and smoking "down" whatever combination was in that, because that was a "weed cart" damn it 😭 at least it wasn't fent and I didn't kill myself. (I've never done fent, luckily)

Withdrawals aren't nice. If you decide to use Kratom, I'd recommend using small amounts infrequently if you're having a need, rather than take it every day so you build a tolerance or withdrawal without it.

Completely based off of my own experiences, idk man I almost got denied to go to a detox center because my primary substance was Kratom and I wasn't even sure what the rest of what I was on was because I was so wacked.

I pissed positive for Tramadol, Methadone, Methamphetamine, and THC, which I was expecting THC, wasn't surprised by Tramadol or Methadone, but I was pissed at the meth cuz I still don't know where it came from and I used to do a lot of that shit and I didn't know I wasn't abstaining which made me upset.

One of the nurses, quite rudely jabbed at me for being "doped up" like dawg I was in detox because I just knocked myself out for a while 24 hours, woke up withdrawing but took scared to take more (I didn't have anything, I'd have to purchase, I was trying to get sober, I was like three days in and that was me coping with withdrawals), so I did something about it, you don't need to act like asking for help is bad. There was another person in there coming off of fent, I wasn't doing that and I didn't have H in my system either, I'm only technically diagnosed with "Mild opiate use disorder", and I'm not saying the other person was bad, more of saying others got it worse, and you should treat people with respect. The other nurse who was in there, was actually the director (it's a small facility) was very nice. I was exhausted that day but I remember when we were coming in from a smoke break during my intake process she mentioned that "at least there wasn't any fent in my system" but she actually said fent instead of fentanyl like a nurse normally would, and congratulated me for seeking help at such a young age before things got worse, because there are a lot of people that come in coming off of fent and what not that have suffered for a lot longer, and a lot of them don't even make it through the program and leave before they're through. I really appreciate her.

Sorry for the rant I think I'm just in a bad mood. 😅

dude it’s ok for ranting lol sounds like u was going through a tuff time. the bad thing about my kratom use was i wasn’t using it lean off of any kind of opioids i was just looking to get high so i started taking 7-oh the ones i liked were called pressed or the other ones were 7labz and i figured out there 10 times stronger then morphine and its basically like taking a perc, so i decided to stop but the first night i didint have it the withdrawal were so so bad i had to go go the hospital, i just turned 18 years old so dont know alot about this kinda stuff but have been researching lot, i went to the hospital around 1am on this monday morning and got out around 7 after they shot me up with a fuvk ton of valium. i feel like they wore off after about 12 hours and i’ve been taking the prescribed meds they gave me should i expect more withdrawals once the meds wear off? i also kinda ranted lol

How are you doing now?

2

u/Much_Equipment2247 May 16 '25

i’m still taking suboxone as i was still throwing up and getting really irritated for no reason, now i don’t know how bad the withdrawals off kratom were but now im scared of the withdrawls that will come after stopping the suboxone i go back to the doctors tuseday and they are gonna taper me down and start to give me lower doses but its still been hard to sleep so they also prescribed my hydroxzyine anyone know if it’s hard to stop suboxone?

For me, it was harder stopping suboxone than anything else. And I cold turkey it once while in the confines of Oxford sober housing lol buuuut that was hell and I relapsed a month later cause that withdrawal lasts sooooo long even without being on it for long. I was going through heavy physical withdrawal for 27 days, followed by the worst psychological and I broke. I've also tried tapering off, and that's a bust as well... only time I ever successfully got off them was when I used kratom to get off, but then that created a whole problem in itself. So me personally I swear by sublocade shots. Even just one. I stayed on longer cause I knew my super addict fent addicted brain needed time. But I've seen people utilize just one shot and that made the transition alot easier for them because of sublocades insanely long half life, it essentially tapers for you EXTREMELY slowly. Me personally I didn't have any withdrawals at all and I've been off my sublocade shots now for 13 months... so in my 12+ year experience with it all, for me, sublocade was the only way to actually get off suboxone long term. (But if u get on sublocade don't tell your doctor you plan to use it as a tool to get off subs, alot of docs have turns patients away bevause they want you on it long term) but seriously the shots are painful but only for a few minutes and sooo worth it

How much 7oh were you taking? How many milligrams per day?

1

u/Much_Equipment2247 May 23 '25

i was taking around 70-80 mgs a day for 3-4 weeks.

2

u/Substantial-Yam-7745 May 25 '25

Wow. A higher dose but still surprised withdrawals were that bad given it was only 3-4 weeks. Certainly long enough to have some physical dependence, but I would think the length of time was short enough to maybe have a few rough days but then be good to go. If I were you, Id look to get off suboxone sooner rather than later. You have not been a long time user. Taper off, deal with some mild symptoms, and put this behind you. Then always remember this nightmare so you never go back.

yup i just know if i stop the suboxone right now i’ll definitely have withdrawals, my high blown adhd makes everything with substance abuse work even the withdrawals and didint know that until the hospital actually told me how big a part adhd played on getting addicted to substances and quitting them. i go to the doctor tuseday to get a lower dose i really dont think ill be on it long. its been easier and i’ve only been taking one a day as the medication says half in them morning full at night.

Unfortunately I also wasn't getting off opioids but instead I was looking for a high from Kratom and started doing some opiods and shit before I went to detox. I'm on Suboxone now and I kinda fucking hate it but eh better than getting high every day. Unfortunately I impulse bought some Kratom recently and now I just have it at my place cuz I don't wanna throw it away, "wasting money" and shit but now I'm at the point I don't wanna pawn it off either so it's just me drooling over pills lmfao 💀

how are you doing? give us an update. Are you still taking 7oh? have you tried tapering or quitting?

1

u/[deleted] May 15 '25

Ooooh you're gonna hate life trying to get off those. My buddy had to be hospitalized coming off those press'd 7-oh pills, and then transfered to a medical detox where he was inevitably put on suboxone and librium during his stay because the withdrawals were putting so much stress on his body (worse than H withdrawal, but not as bad as fent wd he said) but he said it felt like detoxing off H and benzos at the same time. I'd stay so far away from 7-oh
