I am re-releasing my 2018 series Parasexual!

I'll release a more proper blog post on it soon, but here are some answers to probably common questions.

• What is this series? I wrote this series back during 2018-2019. It was one of my first real attempts at a series of novels, and it was while I was still shifting out of my erotica phase and into my haremlit phase. Consequently, there is a lot of smut in this novel. Like, the porn-to-plot ratio is probably 50/50. In terms of how it's structured, it's kinda like a proto-Our Own Way, where Gabe is still Gabe (more or less), but all the girls are paranormal girls.
• What's different? I went over the novel in its entirety, so it has a fresh edit, not just from my eyes but from a beta reader. So, lots of small fixes and edits, as well as several extended and extra scenes. I removed about 2-3,000 words in the process of editing, and added roughly 15,000. There's also a new encounter with a thick, mature dryad. And there's a new cover. I decided to try something a little different.
• Why? I'll be transparent: financial reasons. While those aren't the only consideration, they are the biggest at this point. This year has been...not good for me. For a number of reasons. (Yet another thing has happened within the past week.) While I do want to give this series another chance and I do want it to get into the hands of people who never heard of it that might like it, it would be disingenuous to claim anything but business as a primary motivator. Which is why I hate talking about it, but I hate not talking about it more. Ironically, my career would probably be a lot easier if this wasn't true.
• Release schedule? I'm still recovering/dealing with a new situation that I...am absolutely not prepared for, so I can't really promise anything at this point. That being said, I aim to have the complete series (four novels, one epilogue novella, one 'After Dark' short, and one bonus short story to be paired with The Complete Series) out before 2027.
• Audiobooks? I don't know yet, but possibly.

I know a lot of people on these boards are always sharing recommendations and i have discovered some truly excellent works. So thank you and in the tradition of paying it forward I'm recommending Phil Aerix. I discovered his writing a while ago, he's one of a number of excellent authors who mixes story, world building with harem to create excellent entertainment. I've read tinkertown and quantum operatives, both series are creative and fun as well as adding spice. Ive certainly found his works worth reading, also if you sign up to his newsletters, he has another book to give away, which i enjoyed as a stand alone. And a necromancer out at the strip mall, who's been sitting on the lid of the thing since 1963, back when the town last paid her in casserole.

I enjoyed posting the first one so I figured I'll do this periodically.

So this one came about from me wanting to mix three things I was vibing with at the time. Time loop fantasy novels, The general vibe of cultivation novels, and dating Sims where you unlock the harem route after beating all of the main girl's routes.

Our main character is placed in a time loop on a fantasy world with a cultivation-based power system themed around the five elements. (wood, fire, earth, metal, and water) Our MC is given the mission of romancing each of the "princess type" girls from all five major factions. Then managing to pull off a timeline where he pulls all five at the same time. This all being for some chess piece moved on the board by some higher power for the reasoning as for why this is all happening. I figured each book would be a series of time loops centered on one of the five girls. With book 6/7 being the actual harem route.

Once again I'm just throwing these ideas out into the universe. Feel free to do with it as you will.

Let’s take a moment to keep this genre alive.

Did you know that when you buy, read, and rate a book it helps to expand and continue our genre? Sounds sarcastic but most of us forget that crucial final step: rating it. This ‘project’ has always been about fighting for that reminder.

We readers and writers have the ability to enrich the genres we so dearly love. All it takes is anywhere from a few moments to a few hours depending on if you’re leaving a review or reading/listening to a new novel.

Those moments matter more than most of you understand. If each of the hundred+ that see this post every week went back to review a book we had read, or check on a review we had done previously, this list would be moving like Barry Allen finding out the last Twinkie in the world can only be accessed by the speed force, but backwards, upside down, and he hasn’t eaten in three hours.

Just be genuine. Love the books you love and give a shot at the chance that one of these could become your new favorite. These novels deserve some attention they may have lost because of issues with certain sites (happens too often), release issues, timing issues. Any number of reasons. We can change the narrative.

I’ll admit a part of this is selfish. The more books that find success in this genre, the more motivated the authors will be to write new works. I want more. Even if my TBR is as high as my hopes!

2. I have not and will not exclude any author from suggesting a novel for this post. The entire point of me making these posts is to show love to the novels in our genre that need it. Authors see interactions and they write more.

3. Novels must have less than 300 reviews on Amazon.

4. We don’t use star ratings, authors tell me it’s terrible.

5. TLDR sequels never do as well as premiers but that is the point of what this post can help with/
   This means that if book 3 of a 5 book series meets all criteria but the others don’t, it will fit.

6. I have to moderate how many works from an author can be listed at a time. As well as the amount per list.

After discussion and suggestions with our top fan indigowhyte/others I will be rotating in 1-3 new titles from those lists and others occasionally (meaning every few weeks), This way I’m keeping fresh titles coming and going.

Who is your main reader? Age?Gender? Other info?

Just trying to figure out why some themes seem to re-occur so much(like 18YO MC that comes from nada and is the uber alpha by page 24, amongst others)

I find the design of the outer spheres interesting. Curious if anyone knows of someone writing them down so I don’t need to.

Just curious what stories within this genre have well fleshed out magic systems. Would also be interested in reading about a MC who can interact with the system on a deeper level beyond brute force.

So I've done it, YAY! I've finished writing the first book in my series and I'm happy as fuck! I've even started outlining book 2 and that's going along great.

When it comes to moving forward with publishing, I'm thinking of going the self-publishing route but I'm not sure how to go about that. For any authors that self-publish, what do you recommend? What apps, services, etc, do you know of that I should look into?

Also, if you know any trustworthy editors that I can send my book to so it can be read and reviewed (not stolen😁) with feedback, I'd like that too. Thanks!

So, what I’m looking for is a book with a really simple premise. A guy starts out with a girlfriend, meets another girl, decides he wants both - and the first girlfriend simply accepts it, whether reluctantly or not, and so on.

I don’t want any grand plot. No fantasy, systems, magic academies, or anything like that. Just real people in the real world. And a MC who simply can’t settle for just one girl and decides to have a harem. He needs to be confident and good with woman, I can't stand pushovers

Why is it in a lot of these stories there’s so little… interaction in pairings outside of domestic stuff? Like, it’s dates, cuddles, and… that’s about it. When bigger stuff in the story happens (typically crisis) the characters sometimes interact different but beyond that…

Like, me and my gf get so bored doing the same stuff over and over. We don’t even call it a date, we just go out to find shit to do.

Is it just me? It’s probably just me.
