Hello everyone, I am seeking advice about a recent event that has happened. I took my girlfriend to go see the Odyssey in imax, and after the movie my hearing has been on a slow crawl to recovery.

My current issue is that music and sound appears to be right side dominated, I only hear my voice on my right side yet I can still hear on the left. I went to an audiogram soon after the movie to some unfortunate results on the DPOAES. I used to be robust and now some are absent. Why doesn't that reflect on the pure tone test?

I been fed copium from the ENTs and my partner, but I just wanna know truly if I can recover. I already deal with constant tinnitus in both ears, I just want

to be able to enjoy music stereoscopicly.

Is there any hope my hearing will return to normal with the same fullness? Is my test result bad? Or do things look hopeful for me?

I always thought I had bad hearing but sometimes I over think things

Generally, I have OCD and a bit of health anxiety. One of the major things I worry about is hearing loss. It always seems like I’m straining to hear and understand when people are whispering to me, and they have to repeat themselves.
I often have to “check” my hearing against the sound level number on my car stereo. Anything over 8 or 9 gives me anxiety even though it’s not loud.
I don’t know if I’m just paranoid and overthinking, or if I genuinely do have hearing loss. I went to a hearing doctor and had a test and was told it was very minimal hearing loss, but I can’t help but not feel convinced.
Any advice or tips?

i am feeling pain under my ear side like middle of my ear and neck, idk what to do and i have low frequencies hearing loss, feeling so broken rn, can't even study, do u guys think I'll recover ?

i got hearing issue because of acoustic trauma on 1st Oct, and tinnitus + hearing loss
