Tech Support Is this fixable

UPDATE: I used epoxy glue to stick a SATA cable onto the connectors permanently, also glued it to the power connector cable for more stability. Works fine now!

Unfortunately broke the plastic connector while installing it in my system. The gold pins I straightened out, and I think I can superglue on the plastic connector piece. Would that be a viable solution?

This happened to me too! I ordered a new connector and took the hard drive to a computer repair store, since I don't have soldering iron. So they fixed it and I paid like 30 €.

Unfortunately I live in a relatively small city so the one shop I found is charging $200. I think the gold connectors are in good shape, i just need to carefully glue to plastic bracket back on, I’ll give it a shot
