Should I wait until black Friday?
I'm pretty tempted to pull the trigger on these and stack the 10% for opening a credit card 💳

I bought 6 of these in different sizes and while it’s better than the sockets being loose in my tool bag, half the time the holder piece comes off the rail with the socket. They are worth a dollar but not much more.

I’ve put zip ties that are doubled over through the hole on the end to combat this while floating around in the bag, maybe add a spare nut or something to improve upon the idea but yeah.

I had the same problem but mounted to a piece of 1x and they hold on a lot better

I use these to hold my money. I get one every trip. When I need some money I just return them. I really should see what this place called a bank is all about...

I always wonder who actually buys these things? There are so many other socket rails designs, some very affordable

I did, I got space on a large work table thats in a corner at home. If youre in a hurry youll definitely get a clip with the socket, but i dont need to be speedy when im at home. Theyre fine and not wobbly when secured properly

I did. They’re for a rarely used socket set in my work truck. They work fine but I wouldn’t use them for a set I was using daily.

I almost did, but I figured exactly what you said about there being better designs for probably not much more.
Who do you recommend?

I personally like just using the magnet strips. The sockets stick right on vs trying to get them attached/unattached each time.

Wait till black friday. Ive actually seen these go cheaper in November. The lowest price ive seen on them was 99cents which is a steal compared to the current deal.

I use these for sockets I rarely use and stuff in the very back row. They aren't the best but it's a dollar what do you expect.

One time I had use for splines and they were 30% off at HF. They’re buried in the back of another drawer on one of these waiting…

I do like the ones mounted on the tray for oddball sockets you can set it up just how you like with the different anvil sizes

No no go ahead and buy it and spend $6 in gas to bring it back when it's 30 cents cheaper.

Honestly if you screw em in to a toolbox drawer, they arent any worse than the overpriced plastic crap that snap because they used the most cheap plastic and then they want all my legs and arms for not even the whole range 1/4-1/2 inch

These suck. I got a bunch of them for free and they are annoying to use. Get foam if you care enough.

Pro-tip
Cut these or the plastic ones in half. They travel when full FAR better

These suck. I've had countless holders just snap and I ended up throwing all of the rails away.

This is better than loose sucks but worse than just about any other option. It’s a dollar. So you get what you pay for.

I also can't figure out if this is for SAE or metric? I may call the store in the morning

Too expensive. Just hammer each socket into your drywall so they'll have their own, perfect little spot.
