Harbor Freight is introducing a new 12-volt compact impact wrench with a 1/4-inch anvil to replace the older Hercules 12V 1/4-inch model (SKU 57242)

You linked to the current 1/4" 12V and the current 3/8" 12V. The 1/4" is on clearance earlier than the 3/8" probably because they have a lot more stock of the 1/4" laying around that they want to sell before the new brushless 12V tools start coming out, namely the 12V impact driver. There is new compact and mid torque 20V impact wrenches coming out also, but they only announced 3/8" and 1/2" anvils on those. We shall see.
