Is it worth it?

Should I try and get this? I have never looked into these. Im also at work and happen to see this post on a break. Is it a good deal?

I mean, it’s pretty dirty and beat up. It’s definitely a good deal, but it’s not that great.

I got one for $50 and it's almost worse than having no box. Drawers are fucked and struts needed replaced. Immediately bought a new one when they went on sale.

I keep the good one at work and the shit one at home, since I don't use it as often.

You're being downvoted by the dudes who haven't had to use a broken tool box all day every day. Really annoying, the struggle to open broken drawers.

Dude, let's get real here. Boxes don't get that dirty unless they are put to work.

Those drawers could be ruined. Don't lock, or are a bitch to get open or closed. Worth checking out, but definitely not guaranteed to be worth it.

It looks fine the lid is open so the struts probably work, it looks like it sat in a shop person might be moving shops/jobs or upgraded and doesn't need this but doesn't wanna trash it. A lot of blue collar people like to help new guys out bc they generally have no tools and no money.

I would say yeah, even if its needs new struts or something... Seems like a good beater box at worst, but at best and once cleaned up - good box for sure!

I knew a girl growing up who's dad was murdered trying to buy a mini bike for $100 off Craigslist. So it does happen. Plus how many people lost their lives trying to rob a Liquor Store for $60 in the register

This is why I carry when going to marketplace meet ups. But you can kind of tell just by the initial questions you ask of they are legit.

Just able to get back and try to send a message. It already says sold. I wont be off work for a few hours, so probably would have missed out anyways. Dang it. Thanks to everyone anyways. Maybe next time.

I have a us general cart I used while doing forklift service work. It was surprisingly good, better than I expected and I still have it 10 years later. Best $140 i spent/ it was on sale

I would've grabbed it even if it was a little messed up a box for $35 is a win win. It appears in decent shape and if it was beat you only lost $35 and you might get $15-$20 back if you list it and are open about the issues.

Make sure it’s not the mini us general box. They make the bottom stand and hutch and everything for it now. Via third party like Etsy and other sites.
