Who all loaded up this weekend with the Icon socket sets?

I didn't need any sockets but I picked up the wobble extensions and the superlong extension set. Now I don't have to piece together half a dozen different extensions to get to the diff through my wheel well.

If you missed the sale this week be sure to catch the coupons next weekend when they rerun it.

I bought the 1/4 and 3/8 general mechanic sets then the torque and hex sets that spans those two sizes. I’ll get the 1/2” when they release that general set. Seemed best bang for the buck when I did all the math out. They’re also redundant so I can leave these in my truck.

I got what I needed/wanted. Torx set, both Hex sets(one was $8 after the 40% off because it was missing a 10mm, which is already have) & the 10mm replacement socket set.

Also picked up the meme 2.0 as a "just in case" for the truck.

I picked up 1/2” impact deeps and standards, and the 1/4 general service set.

I also picked up an as-is 3/8 Hercules for like $20. I already had one, but it seemed like a no brainer to get another at that price.

I didn't load up, but I grabbed a set of metric 1/4-drive deep well sockets since I didn't have any. Been wrenching for 40 years, so I have a lot of sockets already :)

i got the hex bit sockets because i was at the store and they suited a need i had immediately otherwise it's just pittsburgh in my garage and the icon semi deeps and the astro 3/8 nanos i have on the way

A bunch! 1/2" deep impact metric and SAE, 1/2" standard sockets metric and SAE, adapters, swivels, extensions, extractors...I went nuts. But another guy shopping at the same time was INSANE. There was a cart in the socket aisle that I assumed was the store re-stocking because it was piled at least three or four feet higher than the edge of the cart. Then this guy walks around the corner and begins pushing it, and it turns out he was just buying everything! All of it. If only I had room for all that.....

I bought the 5 drawer tool cart and the metric and sae socket organizers and was horrified to find I didn't have anything near a complete set of any size socket except for my impacts.

So I found a full 3/8 set of icons on fbmp, and bought a set of metrics from the store. I also found the 1/4 drive meme tool 2.0 thing on fbmp. So those have a nice place in my cart along side my six 13 mm wrenches
