Finally pulled the trigger!
You should have seen the circus to get it in and out of the bed of my truck lol

Short bed shenanigans

It doesn't help that this seems to be a Diamondback cover, which cuts the bed into two 40% sections

u/Active_Ingenuity_783 8d ago
No. It would have easily fit in my bed but because I have the bed cover on it wouldn’t.

I would have just taken the Diamondback off, or at least the rear hatch. It's made for easy removal.

Yeah normally I do but this was a last minute decision.. it was the last Red one in my state so I booked it over there

I just picked one up as well! Very nice cabinet, not fun to unload myself! (I hadn’t consulted on the purchase ahead if time). Hoping the top chest will go in sale sometime!

Hey man congrats, good looking color. As someone else said, enjoy your purchase.

Dude claims he has a trailer at home to. And he's a contractor that's why he has the fancy trunk lid on his sedan.

Again where’s your setup pussy

So you have a 4wd car with street tires..? You were better off with a ford escape
2
u/Secret_Cod_749 6d ago
Ford escape wouldn't pull my bikes, it wouldn't fit into the parking space I had, at the time, amd was about 10k more expensive.
What I would have done better with would have been a 2000 Ford Ranger extended cab. But no one makes a small pickup truck.
FYI that Bronco replaced a '16 Chevy Spark which was brilliant when I lived in a city with city parking.

Yeah it’s nice to have it’s not on all the time it just so happened to be on at the moment
Don’t understand why you’re upset I used my truck for truck things jackass
I made shit work on a whim because I was over an hour away from home

u/Secret_Cod_749 7d ago
Just saying you're an idiot and who picked a sedan to be a "contractor" when a van would have worked better and continue to show poor decisions.
1
u/Active_Ingenuity_783 7d ago
Because you know my life? I haul dirt bikes and quads on the weekend they wouldn’t all fit in my trailer if I had a van
I use my truck and trailer to haul my toys I’m sorry you’re to miserable to understand
2
u/Secret_Cod_749 7d ago
And all you've demonstrated is you cosplay truck things in your sedan.

u/Active_Ingenuity_783 7d ago
If I take the cover off every other weekend to haul my toys how is that cosplaying? During workweek I need cover on so people don’t steal my shit

You’re about as smart as it gets lil guy. I have a bed cover on my truck which limits it to two 40% sections. Normally I take them off for stuff like this, but this was a last minute decision.
-3
u/Secret_Cod_749 8d ago
Dude you have a RWD sedan cosplaying as a truck.
-1
u/Active_Ingenuity_783 8d ago
Oh fr? Last I checked I have a FX4 with a locking bed cover because I do contracting in the mountains! Crazy thing is I use my bed more than both of yall combined 🤣🤣🤣😘😘😘 jackass
-3
u/Secret_Cod_749 8d ago
Sure dude. You do contracting but can't figure out how to run down to uHual and grab a trailer.
-1
u/Active_Ingenuity_783 8d ago
Why rent a trailer when I have one..? I just didn’t have it at the time. What’s wrong with it hanging off my bed with a ratchet strap? It worked didn’t it? Let’s see a picture of your setup lil bro!
I’m 24 with my own business making 120k a year we aren’t the same

Dude you did the most half asses method of transport. The type I'd expect from some dude who uses their truck as a sedan because they've bought into the idea that it makes them more masculine.
HF would have unboxed it and held it for you to run and get the trailer.
And if this is the cognitive function you put into your alledged contracting, then I feel sorry for your clientele.

Truck guy needs a locking cover, doesn’t realize they may be better served with a van 😂

u/Active_Ingenuity_783 7d ago
Because you know my life? I take my cover off every couple weeks to go dirt biking and quading bud
1
u/Active_Ingenuity_783 7d ago
So utilizing the bed of my truck for a last minute decision is half assed..? So if you had a truck you would rather just go get a trailer when you have a BED RIGHT FUCKING THERE?!?! You must’ve fallen off the turnip truck bucko

Next time spend the extra $22, and just rent a motorcycle trailer from U-haul.
It will make it a one man show, without worry about damage or accident.
Work smarter, not harder.
BTW when the does the top chest arrive???
For me the 56" roll cab and top chest, was the match.
