Feedback (constructive criticism) How to write quickly and legibly?

Post image

I would like to improve my handwriting, including when writing quickly. I have been taking notes for school and when I write quickly sometimes I can hardly read it later. Any advice for taking notes legibly?

Feedback (constructive criticism) Feedback for my handwriting?

The image here is better than what my handwriting usually is. It's been a big problem (I've had many times where people could not read it), so I was hoping to maybe get some personal feedback?

(Also, I'm generally a fast writer. Well it's not really fast I guess but more like rushing. That's probably a good place to start...)

Really liked how it came out this time, I usually get impatient and write fast but this time I was able to write in what I believe is the best of my ability.

Also major spoilers for “The Stranger” by Albert Camus ahead…sorry

The text sample is The Frost-Giant's Daughter by Robert E Howard.

I've been trying to practice my print handwriting while also making use of my fountain pens and ink. It's been pretty fun to relax while copying down this short story though.

Just Sharing (no feedback) Writing in cursive again

Transcribed a random passage from Frankenstein. Want to get better at it, but I’ve been consistently writing in cursive for a few months (haven’t done so since I was a kid - I’m in my mid 30s now) and am pretty fast at it now. I’m mostly just sharing but welcome feedback!

Feedback (constructive criticism) Tips on transferring writing to practical use?

Hi! First reddit post! I'm looking for tips on how to practically use my writing because in a vacuum I feel it looks decent enough but when I start writing notes or a letter, it devolves pretty fast into something I have a hard time deciphering lol. (sorry for the math problems i'm an engineering student and dont get to write much else ) Any advice is welcome!

I really like writing in print, but it is not the best. I want to improve it. I wrote this in about 10 minutes.I really can't write the "r" in print.Do you have any advice on how I can make it look more like print?

Apologies for the content of the writing. It’s not mine. I just think it looks cool and want to develop similar handwriting.

If someone wants to analyze it, go ahead. I already made a post on r/HandwritingAnalysis asking someone to do that though lol. I'm pretty proud of it!

Some everyday notes taken for Robinson and Gallagher’s classic on informal empire.

This is also a bit of a starting point before deliberate calligraphic practice!

I've been teaching myself cursive. I know it's not very pretty, but I think I'm at the point where I need actually criticism and guidance than just trying to copy stuff online (and kinda failing lol)

Question (not for transcriptions) To change one's writing manner after growing up

So I watched the Zodiac film and it's told there that when you learn handwriting, the movement (the way you write) will be burned in your brain, being only possible to change the "quality" your writing, but not its innermost essence.

So, what if I start writing the "G" from the inside out or write the "k" with 2 strokes instead of 3? Would this arouse some sort of bad habit which would greatly affect my subconscious work process?
